a what? what is a ypsillon cannon? I don't know the name of this :/ But in the RPs, its an Orbital Defense Cannon, used to pick off distant ships trying to reach a planet, or keep those on the planet from leaving.

They are different from the Myrdin Beam Sentry Cannon, which is used in defense fleets and blockades
