I dont' take photos myself but it's a hobby of my Uncle (though if you ask him he's terrible at taking photos he just fixes them up so much in Photoshop they end up looking somewhat decent). Heres one he did:

That's some pretty good work wolf. I wish I had the opportunity to take more pictures of animals.

That "giant bug" technically isn't a bug. It's common name is a June Beatle, although it could be the slightly smaller May Beatle.

Neither of the the following pics are recent, but both were taken by me. Wish the camera I was usign wasn't so shitty. You can't focus with it...

This is a Polyphemus Moth (male) on my hand.

This is a Luna Moth (male) on my hand.

I also raised a batch Cecropia Silkmoths from about 200 eggs to approximately 30 adults, but that was about 4 years before we had a working camera. (2004-ish I think)

Cool, reminds me of my 2006 Philmont Scout Ranch trek. (2 weeks backpacking in the lower rockies) Philmont is nearby Raton, New Mexico (NE corner)

Pity most of the trees were burned down by a forest fire two years prior...

I think it might be a good idea to have a separate thread for photography, and keep the other one for pictures of yourself, as it's commonly used for.

Here's a few pics from on top of Mt. Baldy (12,440') in Philmont, highest point on the ranch. Supposedly you can see 6-7 states from it.
