Petition for creating DestroyTrackable or DestroyHandle

I'm not sure where post this thread...

I have an idea - make a petition for creating DestroyTrackable or DestroyHandle on special site and send link and message to blizard, so hopefully they make those functions in next patch.

Chance is low but anyway, it's worth it)

What do you think?

There isn't a snowball's chance in Hell to get a new patch, sadly.

Well, we have made petitions before. Blizzard doesn't really have much of a support team for Warcraft 3 though (if any).

Those threads encompass a lot of what mappers want. However, we haven't seen a patch in quite some time and chances are that Blizzard aren't interested in making one. The most they did was ladder maintenance a while back (March), but they didn't even do that properly/it took ages. Actual patches were mostly "forced" by discovering malicious exploits. (return nothing, I2C) It seems that route doesn't work anymore though. The preload bug exists and works just fine, but Blizzard has yet to fix it.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic--although I probably am. You can feel free to make a petition and I'll gladly sign it, but I don't think it'll be enough to influence a new patch.

Main problem is that they won't make those functions even if new patch will be released.(

Yes but it is the only RTS game that Blizzard owns that still has an active maintenance policy. Both WC3 and SC1 have probably reached the end of their lives as far as development.
