Owl Riding Priestess of the Moon

This bundle is marked as pending. It has not been reviewed by a staff member yet.
Unit soundset for the cut Owl Riding Priestess of the Moon unit from the Warcraft III Alpha. Made by me. I've replaced the tiger roars with owl hoots in the original soundfiles, and the beta sound files.

Goes well with Retera's models:
Classic Owl Moon Priestess
Reforged Owl Moon Priestess

Cool! I'm in a public place and didn't listen to these yet but even just the idea of it seems cool and was something I wished I had done myself.

What's the permission/usage rights on this? Can I use these audio files in a warcraft mod built with Warsmash Mod Engine that technically runs as a separate process external to Wc3?

Do whatever you want. Just give me a small credit, and it's all good.

I'm really glad this exists; a fun tie-back to the old Owl Priestess model we never got.

That being said, the Owl seems a bit loud in these (would have to try in-game to really tell), and moreover Pissed 3 & 5 are cat puns that really don't make sense without the "original" mount.

Good work, though!
For Pissed 5, I really didn't have another option. Pissed 3 works since it means her tiger died of curiosity and now she rides an owl.

Hey earlier when I saw this and was celebrating that it existed, I think I mentioned at the time but I was glad we have it but I had not actually given it a listen.

I noticed that the audio in several of the sound files is a Loon rather than an Owl. A Loon is a water bird that can make sounds like in this video:

I know this is a fantasy setting so sometimes this kind of thing does not matter. But would you be interested in making a version that included owl sounds instead for those audio clips?

I had a feeling one of them didn't sound like an owl, but I ran with it since it was labeled as an owl on the site (though the file name calls it a bird, while the others are explicitly called owl) and I thought they might know better than me. I'll change it at a later date. Out of these 3 clips, only SF-bird7.mp3 is not an owl, right?
