Ok i tried to open my map but i get this error. "-Level info data missing or invalid." Anyone know what i can do to get my map back? Please help! I have put soooo much work into this map.
i have 1.18.... I have been working on this map for quite a while... I saved it and then i had to go out somewhere. i came back to open it and thats when i got the error message.
you can try giving the map to someone see if it wrokes on there computer then they can do a save as and make a copy. o i think i had this problem before i just rememberd this did this happen after u imported somthing?
No i didn't import anything when it messed up. I did have a poweroutage though. When i go to my map in warcraft III and try to open it, the name, minimap, descirp and all is missing. When i try to create it all it says is "unable to load game"
well try WEU then try sending it to someone and see if it wroks on theres then they can make a copy if all falis time to redo the map well at leased i tryed sorry if i'm no help
Got you any crash while saving map? Maybe it is file corruption. I also recommend to check map by any antivirus (maybe virus attached to your map so WE cannot open it correctly?).
Well, thanks guys for all your help neways. I posted same topic on some other map forums and a guy said that it happens on rare occasions. It's a bug when saving and something dramatic happens to your computer while saving. In my case is was the Power Going Out. The only thing i can do he said was to just make more backups more frequently. Luckily i have a backup but its a bit older whitch means i have to do alot of work to get back where i was. He seemed to know what he was talking about, some kind of computer programer or somerthing. BTW other people on that forum said the same exact thing happened to them. Please people make sure you make backups frequently for your maps.
