i was thinking what if i make a map based on 4 different classes,

archer, warrior, priest, or wizard....

and you go around helping each other and do quests.............

doesn't sound very interesting......yeah, what do you guys think of it...

Sounds like any other RPG...with less variety. It could work if you made the game very dependent on team work, and VERY detailed. If you do make this, don't let there be a duplicate of any one class, and let there only be 4 players. Really, I think it's a bad idea though.. Do something more creative.

Like anderf said, if you made it detailed, it might work out.
Also Like he said, make each class specialize in different things

I say, study each of those characters and make them extremely specialized

Make it a Gladiator Map and include quests in it.
-You must complete each quest within the time limit

It could be a decent game.
Imo, THeres too many heroes out there now adays... more then necessary

Hmm i agree and disagree

It really depends on deep you go with each class.

I find many games add tons of classes or chars but there rarely Balanced and take loads of time to do if there balanced and have enough stuff for each class.

I think 4 classes are fine, If you go deep enough with each one. Then after you game is released and works well you can always add more.

Depth?
Some Quest that are only for that class.
Some Plot Line that apply s only to that class.
Perhaps each class has there own village, and there's a main city.

Anyway that's my thoughts :)
