I think I get what he is saying, even though I havnt played the map. Are you talking about somthing like this?
  • Area Effect
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Starts the effect of an ability
    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Area Effect
    • Actions
      • Set TempLocA = (Target point of ability being cast)
      • Custom script: set bj_wantDestroyGroup = true
      • Unit Group - Pick every unit in (Units within 500.00 of TempLocA matching ((((Matching unit) is alive) Equal to True) and (((Matching unit) is A structure) Equal to False))) and do (Actions)
        • Loop - Actions
          • Unit Group - Add (Picked unit) to UnitGroup
      • Custom script: call RemoveLocation(udg_TempLocA)
