need help, adding weapons... +rep if help!

I got an idea for a map, and i decided to make starships, and i wanted to make it so they have MULTIPLE weapons, (when it attacks something, multiple projectiles come out, possibly striking other targets as well). And i wanted to make it so the items would make this possible, like u pick up a certain item, enabling that projectile/attack. Help pls?
