Need explanation of XP system

I need to know what constats to change in gameplay constants to change the xp needed per level for heroes, and i would like to know how the equation works. Thanks in advance

It's everything in Advanced, Gameplay Constants, the Maximum Level, the amount of XP gained when you kill a creep, etc.

Or you could use "Hero - Set experience rate" and change it to your liking to slow down or increase the leveling rate. You have to set it for every Hero though, if you want to use something else than 100%.

I think you guys are missing the point; He wants to know the Equation of the amount of XP you need per level, not how to change the amount of xp you need, or the max level

Are you saying aside from game constants, by units level X give you Y points at 100% xp rate?

For the amount xp needed, it's all the same by default, it's in constants.
