Nice pattern and colour choice! The blade isn't very sharp though, and there's a spot of purple on it. Personally I would've added a little shading under the accessories (chains, crown etc) but that's just me ^^

however.. the skin needs more variations on the upper part, as it looks rather bland with that purple.

also.. all fins should be making a contrast to the whole skin.

I agree, the purply-magenta is rather overpowering and overused. You should turn the saturation levels down on the magenta so it doesn't look so out of place and bright, or make the skin a darker shade of magenta/purple. Making the fins a different color would add some nice variation to it as well.
