Not sure if this is for Console games or General gaming, so I put it in General gaming.

Anyways, here goes. I have to say Colonel Volgin from MGS3.

I mean, how many games can you describe the main villian as:

Large Eletric Sadist Bisexual Russian Super soldier?

I think your right i mean but he died in a cheesy kind of way in my opinon. Best Super Villain Ever according to Electronics Gaming World a couple years ago was Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7 and i agree hes unique alright hes not even human hes a tough kind of bio soldier made from something call jenova and he has the wickedest sword ever.

Sephiroth Fails.. at everything. The only good thing about him was the music, and that was only good in the movie.

Best Game villain, for me, would probably be the Balrog. From the Third Age game on the PS2. It's not that it's the most sadistic or most powerful.. but it's ALWAYS in god mode.

Sephiroth sucked a bit in AC, but in Crisis Core he was way off.
-Actually its Jenova Cells, and Cloud is also one of those bio-soldiers-
(my friend said that Cloud is a clone of Sephiroth, is that true?)

Cloud is not a clone i think. Although they dont make it real clear.either way Cloud kicks Sephiroths ass and bam you win. I havent been able to see then ending video due to scratches. Does ne1 know if that sequence is on youtube?

Things about them are likely opposite:
-Cloud has short golden hair and Sephiroth has long silver hair
-Cloud has a big wide Buster Sword and Sephiroth has a long narrow Masamune
-Cloud is the Good guy and Sephiroth is the "BADass" BAD guy

As long as Wesker got in the top 3, I'm fine with that.

And Sephiroth sucks big time. The only reason he's so popular is his theme, and the death of Aeris thing. That's pretty much it.

From what I've read about the 2-D FFs, they had a tendency to kill off one of their characters (Can someone confirm this?). Apparently, a lot of people were expecting Barret to be offed instead of Aeris, so when she died from Sephiroth. Bam, instant popularity.

At least Wesker actually deserves his position. He's not some emo punk at all. He's just an asshole.

Let's see what he does...

Assassinated James Marcus to get the T-Virus for Spencer ten years before REZero. Sent Bravo Team into Raccoon forest to find out about the murders in the forest (Which were cause by the Cerberus' and leeches) and got most of them killed. Sent Alpha team in to rescue the "missing" Bravo team. Betrayed his teammates and injected himself with a super virus. Let the Tyrant kill him so he would be thought dead to Umbrella whom he was also betraying. Sicked the Tyrant on Chris and Jill (Even though they killed it). And he can punch someone across the map in RE4: The Mercenaries (He also does it in Umbrella Chronicles in the chapters Rebirth and Dark Legacy.)

Anyway. To summarize this boring diatribe of witlessness. Sephiroth sucks. His theme is the only good thing. Nazi's still are number 1. There's nothing more to discuss.

I don't have a single favorite, but more of TWO favorites. Egg-Man, from the Sonic series. He just rocked so much face, especially in Sonic Adventure (2).

The second is the Overlord from the game Overlord. He is SOOOOOOO badass, just as much as his minions.

No way. No. Flarkin'. Way. Holland just became my favorite State/Country/Province, and I hereby declare it the most BADASS OF THEM ALL.

Edit: Go buy a NES or an Emulator (or a DS or a Gameboy) and get Final Fantasy III or something. The best part about all these Japanese games is that when they were 2D, they were good, but in 3D, they suck. The only exception I can think of is Nintendo. Super Mario is flarkin' awesome, and so is Link, and so is... well everyone else, really. And then we have Sega. Sonic the Hedgehog is a classic. You CANNOT BEAT OLDSCHOOL.
