I just recently started making models. I have a better than stumbling knowledge of it at this point. However, my problem is that on certain models that i geomerge a different head (and not all of them, just 2 in particular) the head doesn't show up in the map editor or the game. So whats the deal? How can i fix this?

p.s.-as soon as i get this fixed i can start posting :p

First off double posting with a rude comment doesn't make people want to help you, try elaborating on the problem! Secondly there is very little info there to work with. What models are you having troubles with?
A very common problem people experience during the geomerge process is lack of or improper geosetanim settings, have you checked this? Try seaching the offending files for geosetanim? If they exist then 10 to 1 you haven't made one for the new geoset you merged. You need to add 1 to the GeosetAnim ? field at the top of the file, then copy and paste the geosetanim for the body geoset and place it in the corresponding order with the new head.
Hope that helped!

Sorry for the crass-ness

I just got frusterated. By the way...love the signature :)

Anyway, the significance may be in the model file. Both files that the head doesn't show up (ONLY) in the game and World Edit were elaborations of the Orc Grunt file.

could this have any relevance?

Hmmm, the grunt you say. Well it may be bone related like Metabee is saying because the grunt has that second torso and head geoset for the spell animation which is also the first geoset! Maybe you've mounted the head, bone wise to the wrong bone? Just a guess, there is a bone_head and bone_headx in the file! The Object Id's of both are 20 and 37 respectively. Which did you use?
It could still be the geosetanim causing the issue though. Your geosetanim should look like this for the new head.
JASS:
GeosetAnim {
	Alpha 1 {
		DontInterp,
		141067: 0,
	}
	GeosetId 1, //<--Replace 1 with your Geoset (minus 1)
}
Good luck and happy geomerging!
