    So I've just figured out how to make and edit weather effects (credit to this thread) while trying to remove the angle from the ashenvale rain to keep it in line with the water spawning.

    Probably going to write a quick tutorial of it, but basically you just edit TerrainArt\Weather.slk using Excel. You can add new lines and codes for new weather effects.

    Now I'll be adding directional wind (with added leaves!), which will affect projectile motion.

    Would that be a problem if I were to join as 4th judge? I've finished my exams, last one was today and I've plenty of time saved if need be for extensive testing/scoring.

    I am pretty sure people need their extension so I am okay with it and suggest it to be extended a bit as well I hope your able to join us with judging Bannar.

    When the contest ends and you don't see your entry there maybe instead of making a fuss over it, just PM me or eubz or Daffa. Will need the link to the original WiP post though of course.

    It's a pain in the ass. I played before maps using that system, it's hard to even make a move imo. Let's hope genin's will use a better one.

    It will be a space-exploration mystery horror game. Everything will be story related, I wont spoil anything else. :)

    Yes it will use keyboard system, since it is in cinematic mode essentially. Action keys will include; ESC, Spacebar, Left Arrow, Right Arrow, Up Arrow and Down Arrow. There is also a tool among the community that can change arrow keys into WASD buttons. :)

    Not even the prospect of arrow keys is making me dislike this so far.

    While I'm a very vocal opponent of arrow keys, I think it can work in this map - depending on how quick the gameplay is.

    If it's a fast-paced dogfighting game, it will be terrible. If it's a slower, more RPG-like experience, then it I think it could be very good.

    The main problem with arrow keys is the input delay. The position of the arrow keys is just a minor annoyance. The input delay makes maps completely unplayable on battle.net, and even offline there's a huge loss of precision and reaction time.

    My fullscreen menu is done... Gonna use the remaining time for bug fixes, balancing and item creation. If there is an extension, I will make brand new detailed models for my menu to raise the aesthetic bar in my map :)

    Intro cinematic added. I'll upload after the ending cinematics (victory & defeat) and some more playtesting.

    I can probably get it done by the deadline, but an extension will allow me to add more content (waves, abilities, items) and maybe even other game modes.
