*Reworked nearly every system in the game to improve efficiency and reduce lag.

*Removed ALL waves and replaced them with new counter-parts. There are a total of 32 base wave-type units that have varying abilities. Each wave type is modular - allowing me to add/change/remove existing wave types with ease.

*Provided a large buff to the regenerators - double the range and healing but at double the price.

*Removed the ability for any zerg (minus wave 30 boss) to destroy the natural walls in the game.

*Many zerg can now burrow under your wall, jump over your wall, or fly over your wall.

*Reworked Thermal turrets to give them AOE atttacks and multiple attacks per second.

*Reworked Reaper turrets - they now gain damage and attack speed over time (visibly)

*Tesla tower chaining has been reverted back to the original style.

*Added docking port which currently features two air vessels. One that mines and another that attacks.

MineralZ is SIGNIFICANTLY less laggy. I had to rewrite some major systems, but the end result was well worth it. Enjoy!

I just notice that there are some problem for the power generator. I do build a lot power generator behind there (see the attachment screenshot, those tier 6 power generator wasn't working to transfer mp to the tower I click.) but those tower (end of right side,thermal tower and nearby) just use the power generator I click, see attachment. I do check the range and all the tower are inside the range of power generator. And i think the generator shouldn't have about half of the mp because there got so many generator nearby or maybe that is the level 30 boss aura's job. It also happen for another time on stage 30 again last time that i didn't take any screenshot.
I saw this problem previously. I will notice it again and make sure if it is a problem or not.

And factory doesn't require any power or lamp to get income for each tier. I tried a lot of time and it really doesn't need power. I attach a replay for it.

By the way, the more difficult it are, the more fast to end. I saw the finish time just 1:52:xx for normal mode, which always faster then easy mode(maybe?). I am so sorry for any grammar, poor English for me.

also i nid report a bug after the steel wall, those wall cant repair using the building that repair the wall.

Is it on level 10? The boss got a skill name rapid fire which cause us, builder cannot repair but the only choice to do is to build some towers as all the boss needed to be kill in order to pass the stage.
 
To be perfectly honest. Maddeem should standardize unit armor, and health regen (I'd prefer no natural regen at all).
  • Mineral Nodes:
    • Health could represent the total amount of minerals left in the node.
    • Make mining reduce the health of the node by the number of minerals removed from it.
    • Alternately you (maddeem) could add the gold mine ability to nodes and have the remaining gold become minerals left in the node.
    • Having gold represent minerals (or total minerals) meansthat you'll have to turn lumber into credits, and gold into minerals( or total minerals).
  • With no health regen bosses only rely on their high health to beat us down.
  • Buildings would have to be repaired my hand or with regenerators, they'd never magically heal themselves.
  • Regenerators would have to be stronger to account for the missing health regen of walls (or not, if the health regen makes mobs and bosses easier enough as well).
  • Damage adding with and without health regeneration:
    • Pretend you have a turret with 15 DPS attacking a unit with 100 health.
    • With 0 health regeneration it will take 7 seconds.
    • With 5 health regeneration it will take 10 seconds.
    • with 15 health regeneration it won't ever die.
    • If you instead increase the unit's life by ten times the original health regeneration you get a better system.
    • With 250 (100 base life + 150 life from health regeneration), it will take 17 seconds, but is killable.

tl;dr:
Remove health regeneration and possible armor.

Eh, I don't know about that. Mining minerals are great the way they are.

All buildings have no natural regen, but only when you upgrade the walls to have regen.

Did ever someone win hard mode? Not single player. My base couldn't survive to 60, half way already dead almost half. 60 just dead in a second. Getting more credit but still hard to win hard mode

Edit, some suggestions/bugs.
  1. Mineral Factory [Tier 1] says it costs 10 minerals, but charges 20.
  2. Mineral capacity and speed are still upgrade based, instead of spell based. Change it.
  3. Queen damage was buffed, one shots AA turrets.
  4. Turrets don't list what they attack (ground, air, both) please follow Blizzard convention.
  5. There are tons of ground turrets, but only one air turret, make some ground turrets, like Thermal Turrets and Reaper Turrets. Thermal turrets are a basic turret with a lot of tiers, therefore it should be worth it to get it. Making it kill air will do this. Reaper turrets cost a butt ton of minerals, I expect them to attack air as well because of it.
  6. Make a second tier to Barrier Management that costs something like 1,000 or 1,500 Sapphirium to reduce the cost by another 50%, making the total reduction 75%.
  7. Make a second tier to Alien Infrastructure to increase turret life by another 100%.
  8. Remove Regenerative Remedy.
  9. Make Mineral Factories more useful, like giving a stream of minerals per second or something. Uses 1/3 of its max mana each second, requiring constant powering. Make them give 1/2/3 of the respective mineral each second. Because as it stands, you need to have about 10 of each time to notice their effects.
  10. Odd crash to desktop on Young Hive boss when upgrading 12 walls. No error message.
  11. Allow for more droids, like 8 instead of 5.
  12. Finish Bioengineering lab.
  13. Allow 2 more tiers for spiked walls.
  14. Make the construction speed bonus to up to 10 tiers, making a 70% reduction to construction speed.
  15. Or remove gameplay affecting credit purchases.

I like all of it, except 8 and 15. ;d Credit costs will need to balance to tailor all this.

Factories are worth while, if you live longer than 15 minutes. (Which most do, I hope.) After that period, they've paid for them selves.

Why remove it when you can just not research it in the first place? I myself leave the Remedy upgrade for later. Yes, there's times where I actually want to break a crystal because I'd like to close the gap it makes or if it's in the way of where I want to put my turrets. But seriously, just don't get the upgrade until your base is set or everything is already perfect. Better yet, Maddeem. Make it so you can research, but then toggle it.

How about that? WOO!! Awesome idea. Make the remedy able to be toggled on and off after you buy it.

Make it a right-clickable skill in the miner's menu, like an auto-cast.

Hmm, no I havn't, I've always been 1 tech shy of that stage.

By the way, that's WITH the Regenerative property researched and active on my character.

I've not found much use, if any, from a magnet tower pulling units closer. This doesn't mean that there is no use. Magnet towers are quite weak in their pulling/pushing.

I have a special little secret for that tower. ;d

Maddeem, it has come to my attenchion that thare is a ishue in mineralz that i donot know if it has ocured in the past or not. the xel'naga orbs "blackhole" abillity is glitchy.

again i donot know if this has ocured in the past but, in the event of the ocured "glittichy" moment we hd used the orb to try and throw the boss into the rocks to cause a endless night so we can compile mineralz for laitter use, but as i watched the replay the blackhole ATE him, the hidrall went in but never cameback out.

now i hope that this glitch will be fixed in laitter vershins. i have no idea if this is a comon ocurence or a very rare glitch.

no on another thought, why does the bioengineering center do nothing? i built it once wehn i was able thinking "yeay time to get some end game stuff" then i looked in it. i then thought "wtf?" also on another another side noat, how come the biomechanical hybrid not gain stats with levels? is it going to be implemtnted laitter or is it going to be like this?
i thought i would point thies things out so thay may be fixed, if you will not beleave me on the blackhole eating the hydrall i got a replay saved and am ready to apply it if you request.

Despite the urge to continue development with adding more features, it is wise (read; not lazy) to fix already existing bugs and problems.


Best to add more features first, then do a full bug sweep and release it.

Can't be bothered for a non-buggy release at this rate, they're not that game-breaking. Besides.. there'll be broken things to fix when he adds new content anyway.

I say toss more stuff in. Release it, then tidy it all up and release again.
