Middle Earth Risk6.23(N)

Middle Earth Risk, widely played on U.S. East server is a game that is different from others in the Risk genre. Every nation has different units and costs on those units.

A game of strategy and experience one must know where they will start based on the units in this area in order to get a good foothold.

Game:
Over 140 different units, ranging from Riders of Rohan to the Black Orcs of Mordor.

Choose your nations to conquer from the beginning from 26 choices:
North Eriador
The Shire
Blue Mountains
South-West Arnor
Moria
The Mithril Mines
Arnor
Mirkwood
East Rhovanion
West Rhovanion
Dol Guldor
Grey Mountains
Iron Hills
Rhun
Woods of Lorien
Enedwaith
Fangorn
Rohan
Gondor
Gorgoroth
Nurnen
Harad
North Ithilien
South Ithilien
Umbar
Erebor
(Soon to come: Lindon, Withered Heath, South Harad)

With Empire spawns that result from owning certain nations together, providing a spawn and extra income:
Nurnen + Gorgoroth = Mordor
East + West Rhovanion = Rhovanion
Moria + Mithril Mines = World of Moria
North Eriador + Shire = Eriador
South + North Arnor = Complete Arnor

Along with this, certain cities will give to extra units and +1 to +2 gold and are treated as individual nations apart from a full country:
Minas Tirith
Helms Deep
Rivendell
Barad Dur
Minas Morgul
Dol Amroth
Cair Andros
Isengard
(Soon to come spawn/income: Gray Havens, Pelargir, Anfalas, Annuminas)

On top of this there are a total of three modes in the map that the host may choose upon start (if not chosen the map auto-selects FFA):
-FFA (Classic Free-For-All)
-TM (Team Mode, in which you may ally who you wish)
-GvE (Good VS Evil, a mode that needs work, but is quite fun. You may choose your nation and that is given to you and the good nation players battle it out with the evil nation players.)

In regards to those of you who know this map, 6.24 is well underway but will still take some time, considering all the work that is going into it (complete recoding.)

This is the official Middle Earth (LotR) Risk and is also protected.

I hope you enjoy this map!

The map is a decent concept that is executed quite well, although there are several balance issues. As far as Risk maps go this is one of the few Risk maps that has decent terrain although it is not accurate to Middle Earth itself, at least not entirely.
Middle Earth Risk is set in the Book written by J.R.R Tolkien Lord of the Rings and comprises of many units which vary in model and stats. The locations you control in a area are linked together to form regions, which grant extra gold and a spawn of free units if you control the whole region. This map is a good example of a risk map but could use improvement.

I give Middle Earth Risk a 6 out of 10

Well, I tested the map and the terrain is beautiful and its quite balanced but I don't like the fact that some places don't have enough unit to train, and it would be nice if there would be a builder to place some towers and stuff, and the units should move into the circle automatically because its annoying if u want to attack more places at the same time, and they die because of the tower, other than that its a really good map i didn't saw any heroes or unique units but I just tested it barelly I will look at it later. Nice map:)
