Maps are not working

I downloaded a few maps from this site (for ROC because that's what I have) and when I try to play them they just either totaly do not work (not even start loading) or when I just open the map with warcraft from my maps folder it goes to the normal menu of when you first start the game but all the buttons are blacked out.

I think I had something like that too...
It was with the models(custom or wc3 models, was the same) they almost all of them corrupted and I had to reinstall the game, after I transported all my maps and models that I downloaded off course.

No I have not downloaded the patch yet because last time I reinstalled the game and downloaded it it said something to the effect of download this patch that you just downloaded after you have installed TFT (not before). So enless I'm reading it wrong (which I most likely am) I am not supposed to download the patch if I want TFT to work (and I orderd it a few days ago). I am wrong yes?


OMIGOSH last time I had to reinstall the game I forgot to take out all my maps and stuff UUUGH it sucks.

Ok I downloaded the new patch.......AND IT WORKED.
