This isn't actually a map (i dont know where else to put it; move if theres a better place); instead, I am going to upload many of maps that have custom models (that are not on this site and are older). These are older ones and were rare, even though they had exellent models that were lost in the WC3sear.ch purge. The first one I will upload (and then upload the models individually) is the MechWarrior units; it also has a save/load system.. I think that there are 7+ models; this is including samus (Nintendo). I will do this in the next couple days, or right away if a moderator/admin tells me that this is a good idea. If there is anything about the model's maker, I will put it down. Also I will just put the model's map and the map maker(s). Of course, these will be the older maps from 1-2 years ago, and not any of the newer ones as they are protected.

Uploading of other people's works is very much frowned upon.
It would be better if you gave the map to an administrator, who would pick out the ones that would be approved for the Hive, then upload them with the creators name as opposed to yours.
Of course even that may be bad, as many people removed their models on purpose, so we wouldn't even want to upload old models in fear of disobeying their wishes.
All in all, doing things with other people's work is a very touchy thing, its best not to redistribute the models at all.

I beg to disagree...

I think that if the models were lost, I think that, if you give credits, it is ok. If they removed the model, I think it is only right that, since they had it for the purpose of download, they then want it, at the time of download, to be used and downloaded.

What? I don't follow you at all.

If someone takes down his or her models, obviously they don't want other to have them. Models can't be taken without permission, so uploading models from a map that isn't yours is against the rules.

I know. Now please, I'm only trying to help. BUt, if you really want to, I can just leave them there in my older computer that I dont use much anyway...I'll jsut use 1 or 2 of them that are on this site anyway. Oh, and I always give credit on my maps (well, first time putting models on my maps, but i'll put them in the quest area).
