Making an ability usable for hero?

Hello
I'm really new to creating spells...so far i've advanced to changing spell icons, names and values
Yeah yeah, me n00b

Anyway here's the problem...
I was creating a custom hero, so i needed custom spells. I made spells in the spell editor thing, basing them off different spells. Then when i tried adding the spells for my hero, i've found out that only 1 of them is a hero spell (only based 1 off of another hero) and i cannot add the others for my hero =/
Looks like a simple problem but i cannot find a way to solve this...

check out the 'Hero ability' value of the spell. it's above the 'Item ability', you will find it. set it to true, and change the 'Levels' to 3 (or as many as you want), and set the level values.
