Anyone hear of it? M.U.G.E.N (or Mugen) Is a 2D fighter that is fully customizable, seeing as it lets you have your own characters, stages. backgrounds, lifebars, etc.
The game was originally supposed to be a FPS but it turned into a fighting game, however, some people have gone too far with some of the created characters. (Go to youtube and type in "Omega Tom Hanks".)
However, it's because of this feature of customization that it has become so popular, leading to plenty of unofficial versions and hacks, seing as the creator, Elecbyte, abandoned the community.
