Premise:
A map of the Second Age of Middle Earth in which Sauron has risen to power in the East, threatening to take control of Middle Earth. Project Head(s): MMG_God and Super_pole Co-Creator(s): Eazy-E, Elros

This map, at its core, is a standard 6 on 6 spawn upgrade strategic map (See ringwars, War of the Jewels, etc)...but it is inspired by variations of gameplay to the likes of city-builder and civilization. We plan to offer the player new ways of commanding their team in order to enhance experiance and bring new life to the communities' lotr based strategies.

Each team will still have their traditional mains and standard 'requirements provided' upgrades for the timed spawns, but we will also allow the player to gather resources; resources which in turn can be used by the player to further expand the capabilities of his/her army. In other words, apart from your standard spawn, you will be able to customize your army and base in a similar style to that of vanilla warcraft. Different tech options will be available, and it will be left up to you to decide which to incorporate into you army.

A buildable system similar to that of The SEcond Age (Like ea's bfme) will be used to create your buildings, you WILL be limited to a certain number of build plots and you WILL be limited as to where you can build...at least to begin with. Another option in expansion will be the creation of outposts, which will be FREELANCE construction in that you can build them anywhere as long as they are not to close to a main or another outpost. These outposts in turn will allow the owner to summon new buildplots in spots of the players choosing as long as they are within a reasonable proximity to the outpost. Outposts will be costly, and you will have to determine for yourself what is the correct time to pursue tech advances to train new units, and when outpost expansion is necessary. Outposts...like their buildable counterparts, will be takeable.
