When you say lore-friendly, do you mean it'll be a good way of learning the lore from eg WoD or some books or something?

Asking b/c I'm looking for custom maps that are "official lore"-heavy - basically that could serve as official bonus campaigns/sequels.

I guess what I'm asking is...is the lore sort of just there in the background as flavor, mixed in with a new story, or is the lore adapted to be the actual main story?

It's an adventure RPG driven story, but is also heavily focused on Durotan, Blackhand and the rise of the first Horde.

I’d say that the story in my map is lore-friendly in a way that there are no so-called major retcons.
I made a few creative changes however, like keeping the orcs green (instead of brown in the newer WoW lore) or having some killable noteable characters (which died before the opening of the Dark Portal in the original lore anyway).

Edit: The main character in my RPG is a random adventurer and not a major lore character.
