Doesn't it need to be in .blp format? thats the main part I usually have trouble with...

Use Warcraft 3 Viewer to convert it, its actually extremely simple, nicely labelled buttons and everything

I think for the loading screen to work you need to split the TGA too, into parts.

No you don't I've had Loading screens made for me before and I've read the tutoriol if ElectricSaiyan has change the picture to the right size before converting it to .tga then all that needs to be done is convert it to .blp I believe unless I've forgotten.

Either will work.
For the way I did it, it wouldn't overwrite a default Loading screen, so yes, you'd have to use the LoadingScreen.mdx
Easy solution to that is opening the mdx in a program similar to notepad.
Search for the path, and simply change the blp part to tga.
Both TGA and BLP are supported by War3.
Anyways, since Arvedui converted it to blp, you might as well use that

heh no problem, ElectricSaiyan did pretty much all of the work..
figured I'd try to help a little.. Glad i works.. i was groggy and was making icons at the same time lol.. wasn't sure if i had confused the two.. lol
