Ok, I have tryed EVERY tutorial there is on Loading Screens. EVER SINGLE ONE! I've searched on Search.com, Google.com, Hiveworkshop.com, and more.... Tevery tutorial I do, doesn't work for me... I've seen it work for other ppl.... I go over the tutorials like, 5 times... step by step... Either my computer doesnt like me, or my warcraft Editor is broken, or some other reason. I have even reinstalled wc3, for other reasons, but it still doesn't work...! WTF am I doing wrong? Heres an image of my most recent try. I have even tryed like, 100 different images.

Hey i looked at the import manager screen you gave and i think i know your problem......convert the .tga images to a .blp format!!!, if you already tried that then do it again and use Ayumi's tutorial in the Video tutorials in this forum section (right at the top) and follow it EXACTLY!!!! and make sure (unless you resize the image to it) that the image is 1024x768 pixels that way the tutorial is easier to understand, thats an awesome tutorial in fact all of them are and they have yet to actually fail me yet. Good Luck

EDIT:
Click here for a program to convert to .blp
Just open the image using the program and then "save as" and choose the .blp from the list

Get this programme From here
and than open your tga pic save it as a 512x512 blp file in the same programme open that blp file and save it as a mdx file and import both the model and blp and that should work, I use it and it works 100%

Ok...

First, download This model.
Next, take a picture you wish to use as loading screen. That picture should be of size 1024*768. After you chose a picture, resize it to 512*512. Don't worry if it looks stretched now. Save the picture as "Fullscreen.tga".
Convert "FullScreen.tga" to "Fullscreen.blp" using this program.
Import both "Loadingscreen.mdx" and "Fullscreen.blp" in your map with the import manager.
Almost done now, all you have to do now is make sure the PATH of "Fullscreen.blp" is set to "Fullscreen.blp" instead of "war3mapimport\fullscreen.blp". Do the same for "Loadingscreen.mdx" by removing the "war3mapimport\".
Finally, go to Scenario, Map Loading Screen and select "Loadingscreen.mdx".

To final_nova: I don't know what you're talking about because you can't save a .blp as a .mdx.
blp is a picture format like .jpg or .tga while .mdx is a model format like .3ds or .obj. You can't possibly compare these.

I know but the warcraft 3 model editor (the link I posted) allows for you to take any picture file being of jpeg, tga, bmp,PCX,png or TIFF and save it as a 512x512 blp file after that you can open that blp file and save it as a mdx file, that is why the WME made by Mangos is so handy to have.

No need to convert .jpg > .tga

Just convert any .jpg directly into a .blp: I prefer to use Warcraft III Viewer

Magos' War3 Model Editor is really the way to go to create loading screens though (IMO).
