Life of a Dragon Sequel v2.41c is the successor and sequel to the original 'Life of a Dragon' map, both created by me: Christopher10. It is a Multiplayer RP Map focused on living your life as a Dragon in a vast, dangerous fantasy world of Kayla. Not only can you live your life as a dragon, but you can also live out other lives revolving around the presence of dragons in the world. Dragon Slayer... Dragon Knight... Kayla Kingdom... Lakor Empire... There is no end to this ever-updating map on what new feature will arrive to further develop this world of Dragons.

Many years prior, Life of a Dragon Sequel had been abandoned by me. This version 1.1 was riddled in bugs, glitches, exploits, and other nasty messes. But despite all that, many fans gathered together to keep the map alive in the roleplay community on Battle.net. Inspired by the community, I had returned and given Life of a Dragon Sequel a much-needed rehash of all its code and content, thus began version 2.0... And it continues to this day.

I've have given Life of a Dragon Sequel an upgrade likened to an Expansion Pack. Including numerous Changes, Additions, Tweaks, Alterations, Balances, Fixes, Content, and much, much more!

Life of a Dragon Sequel features many different heroes, stories, and roleplaying possibilities. It is best played with friends or online but can be played in a singleplayer atmosphere. Each different slot represents a different playstyle in the game. Not only that, but some slots can switch their playstyles entirely with special secrets that change their characters.

  • Dragons: The Chosen Dragons (Dragon Players) are unique heroes with the potential to outrival any regular dragon. They start as non-elemental hatchlings and can grow at certain level intervals into higher stages. At a certain stage, they can seek out and become a different colored dragon, each color having its own unique abilities and differing playstyles. However, as a Dragon, you will meet certain demise if you are killed, as you only have 1 free resurrection before facing death... Forever.
  • Dragon Slayer: Your atypical hero, don't let the name fool you, the Dragon Slayer is more of a monster hunter than anything else. You are a powerful human hero, male or female, that can upgrade your unique equipment and have the potential to destroy powerful beasts that threaten the world.
  • Dragon Catcher: A hero unique to Kayla, the Dragon Catcher, male or female, has the capabilities to capture Dragon Players and place them into an enchanted cage. Like the Dragon Slayer, you can become powerful and upgrade your equipment.
  • Kayla Kingdom: You are the Kayla Kingdom, a vast human nation that controls much of the land. With the recent peace treaty having expired, what occurs in the land, whether for good or evil, is woefully up to your decision. Your character, Prince of Princess, has their own unique abilities to help you fight off dangerous creatures... Or perhaps... Dragons.
  • Lakor Empire: A recent addition from another world, the Lakor Empire is a group of strange, red-skinned orcs that seek shelter after their homeworld was destroyed. The fate of Kayla rests in your choices on whether you will seek peace or war, neutrality or genocide. The Lakor Empire is a small, scattered bases with limited resources by powerful warriors.
  • Mercenary: Unlike any other character, the Mercenary has the different options of multiple races and heroes, or villains, of many genders. Each having their own abilities. However, once a character dies, they cannot be resurrected. You will be brought back to the choice selection to choose a new hero to begin anew, but don't worry, all levels transfer between heroes if they do die.

the game is only about 30Gb :(


I'd play but i have no disc space on my computer, this needs newest version of WC3 and the Reforged bullshit makes it harder for me.

there are people playing this in 2020 ? i see no gameplays of it ...and i realy want to watch and maybe play with people....And thanks for the creator of the map i like it alot but it is boring to have no one to play with :(

1. How to get inside the Cysgodol area, I crafted the amulet but I require to be 'opened mind'?
2. How to craft Prototype Ragnarok(Cysgodol 1st quest)? I already have the crystal greatsword and the essence. I even have Magic-filled rubies and Red Dragon Eggs.
3. How to get inside the gate near the wildkins?
4. Red Dragon Father doesn't seem to accept the Eggs.
5. The Furbolg Ursa Warrior thanks you for killing the Corrupted Depth Ogre and says about the "this essence" corrupting people, what essence is he talking about? Is he supposed to drop something?
6. Where are the other set of the 5th legionnaire? I can only find the leggings.
7. I have found 5 silver piece, what do they make?
8. How to get to the area where you can choose two artifacts, the one in front a guard statue?
9. Does Abigail and Rhett have their own unique quests or events? If not, can you add one, like maybe Kellnir has some connection to Abigail.
10. Arcane core, lake essence, and mana rune do what?
11. Can the 6 orbs of elements (fire, ice, lightning, darkness, etc) be combined?
12. Where can I find the wild-infused wildkin? I don't know where the 'normally outcropped rocks' place of west is. Can you also update the quest markers, it is really hard to navigate the map.
13. Where do caught dragons go? I can't seem to find them in the magical pens in the capital.
14. Is it intentional that Rosina loses her catch dragon skill when she turns in a dragon knight?
15. Can you have dragon mounts other the the blue dragon? Perhaps the red dragon egg can be used in the future to become a mount for dragon rider. Or perhaps when Slayer does the green dragon quest where he must save a green dragonet, he can choose to make it his mount or choose the regular item reward.
16. Cleansing Crimson woods require me to craft faerie and water essence? Where do I find them? Do I attack the lever when I have them?
17. Does the 1st Alolan quest require you to have 3 players go Alola religion?
18. Can you make the acid dragon's 3rd skill passive not orb effect? There are a lot of strong items, unique/artifact that has orb effect, and would thus lose the effectiveness of the ability. At the very least, can you make the Orb of Venom stack with the passive? It's really a shame that the item that the Mother Green Dragon gives does not work well with the acid dragon.
19. How do you complete the dryad's quest of clearing up wildkins in moonwell area? I keep killing them be she still won't complete the quest.
20. How do you become a purple dragon?
21. Boss doesn't always drop certain items, are there triggers for this or is it completely random?

When transforming into bow, Abigail loses her Route and Religion quest book guide.

How do you get the Dragon knight? Been trying for 3 hours now and still nothing...

Dragon knight requires the player to play as the Dragon Slayer role or Dragon Catcher role, and for you to obtain the egg south of the blighted area

You need to break your altar in the main town and go to the blue circle (the one near the big stone of resurrection).

I'm trying to get the Kingdom Secret and i know now to destroy the altar but the altar itself is invulnerable with the only thing that can be destroyed being its tower and i destroyed the tower but the Altar is still unable to be destroyed. I completely understand you are not obligated to tell me anything but even some clue as to what I'm doing wrong would be great and I would greatly appreciate it.

OK so I actually figured it out myself. Forgot to account about getting the character to level 15. So problem solved. Sorry for bothering you...

There is no draconic hero for Kingdom (as of yet). But I am planning one in the future related to the Bronze Dragons.

Ok so I am at the end of my rope so here I am. Does anyone, anyone at all know how to complete the fifth and final step in the Alonna religion questline? I killed the boss got the item but then I get nothing. Can someone point me in the right direction of what to do? Please?

Honestly I normally play by myself in an effort to find all the secrets but lately I've been trying to find where the new locations for some of the pieces of silver are and how to open the elven gate in Arana Desert that's blocking the way to one piece whose location hasn't changed. If you can help me with any of that I would be in your debt.

Whoa, 2.35 huh? I believe that's the last version compatible with pre-1.29.

1) Yes, as the Mercenary Footman, when you hit level 15 in pre-2.41, you become Shadow Knight. You can collect the essences as Shadow Knight and bring them to the old ruins, to a spot above a charred skeleton, then type the answer to the essences' riddle.
2) I believe the command is "((dang I need a altar" or "((dang I need an altar" some variation of that without the quotations.
3) Before 2.4, I would sometimes hint as to new heroes in the future by putting prototypes on the corner. Those heroes are secret heroes that do exist in 2.4+ versions, but do not exist in 2.38 or below.

The command above is for the altar cheat. For the secret hero to Shadow Knight, the command if I recall correctly is either "a star" or "star" without quotations, might be cap sensitive. Blizzard's been strange on the text cap sensitivity.

Frankly this is really the only mystery I feel the compulsion to solve. That and how to get the new Dragon you introduced in 2.41b but that can wait for another time. I'm not even worried about Bazil even though I know he is in the game because you stated yourself the silver dragon is the strongest one in the game and I know how to get that one even though it would be interesting to play as Bazil in this map and see how he's changed. But right now I just need to know how to finish the final Alonna quest. So can you point me to something I'm doing wrong please if anything? Thank you in advance!

Glad you're enjoying the map!

My testers and I are currently testing the Alona Religion Questline to see if there is an issue with the final quest's boss. What's supposed to happen, when you bring the boss's HP to 50% or less, it becomes stronger, ups to level 35, and fully heals once. Alona will comment on this. After this, you can then kill it normally and the quest would finish by returning to Amberbark Town and talk to Alona.

If this doesn't occur, then the final quest is currently broken.

As for the new dragon type, it's a secret dragon tied to the already secret Purple Dragon, then go to Arana. You have to be a Young Adult Purple Dragon. Secret Dragons become Full Adult at level 30. That's all for hints.

Bazil is currently causing desync issues for multiplayer games due to his model, highly recommend not genociding dragon nests past the 4th killed nest as the 5th spawns him as a extra boss. But if you wish to play him, the only method to do so is by Single Player in pre-Reforged WC3 by changing your username to "The_Archdemon" and typing "-Shadows be my guide" as either a Dragon, Mercenary, or Lakor Empire player.

Edit: It has been tested. There does not seem to be a problem with the quest. Try locating Alona in Amberbark Town after killing the boss, it ends that last discussion. This problem might be exclusive to Reforged in some way, as we've only tested in on 1.30.1 so far concerning this matter.

Well I did all that. I bought the boss down to 50% then I beat it. Then though she actually gave me the dialogue to met her in Amberbark and when I did the quest was completed. So I'm not so sure if the quest is bugged because I play this map in Reforged classic mode. Now As for the new dragon I'm still at a loss on that because I was a Young Adult Purple Dragon and I escorted Hope to the location and nothing happened. So I'm at a dead end but I know you can't give anymore hints in that regard so I'll respect that. As for Bazil, from what I know getting access to pre-Reforged WC3 is a bit of a process that is outside of my capabilities so I think I'll wait and hope you can make him work in Reforged WC3 in classic mode and fix that desync issue. Of course I generally play Single player anyway so it really wouldn't be a problem. Other than that I just need to figure out the deal with the item the boss in the last Alona mission drops and I'll be good (because seriously the description makes it seem there is more to it then there appears). I have a question. I have already seen the Bazil dragon and I have seen such an item as Ragnarok. I was told that this dragon can be exactly what to call and knock out this item from it. I do not understand how and I wonder if it is possible to do it.

The item in question, Ragnarok VI (Or was it IV? V?) Only spawns when Bazil (Ancient Shadow Dragon) reaches Level 15. When he is killed, he will drop the item from his Inventory. It, however, cannot be picked up by any character that's not Bazil.

In the Cysgodol 4th quest, the one where you're teleported to the cysgodol passive golem area and is offered their riddles, I tried everything ranging from 1. Cysgodol, 2. Wild Magic, 3. Utheran, 4. Demon King Utheran, and no response and got attacked 3 times already, and got stuck and had to reset, what am I supposed to do?

I basically Love dragons and dragon type units and story line I have a 3 to 4 Request First one is plz add a religious worker unit for dragon players and for the dragon catcher\slayer players just like you made for The Orcs and Humans + any one or two units that dragon players can train instead of mercenary units within the dragon cave or some other new building perhaps. Now The Second one plz make the dragon players to have a extra hero plz so we can play both male and female dragon heroes just so we can create egg this one is a OPTIONAL REQUEST that's all. Now The Third one could you plz make a Night Elf base just like the kayla and lokar you did with quest lines with a hero as a king or queen hero to play I personally recommend the priestess of the moon model for the queen in the future perhaps these are a really big requests i agree but i must say that i wanted to play a RPG maps as dragon player. The First time when i played this map v.2.38 i was so happy to play this map among all other maps this one is the top in my concern the storyline you used and the all the characters with different types of questline This map is the best and awesome map I have ever played. One Last request I don't Intend to play this map in Reforged so if you are going to make a version of this map adding my requests then PLZ MAKE IT IN FROZEN THRONE VERSION PLZ THIS IS A HUMBLE REQUEST AND THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL MAP. They are two different essences, though, one of them is a Weakened Shadow Essence. The other can be found in the Old Ruins. The Silver Dragon is one of the hardest Secret Dragons to become, as it is a secret, I will not divulge how to become it entirely. Though, I will say what is mostly public knowledge. You need 3 Pieces of Silver, 1 of which is hidden in the map on the ground somewhere (it's been moved from its old 2.25 spot so that location is no longer valid.) Once you obtained all three, the code shall be revealed to you. Where the location to become it is, well, I'm sure you can figure it out.
I have a doubt perhaps obtaining 3 and transforming with codes are ok but which dragon we have to use before choosing a colour from the non secret dragon or after that

and really i found all the secret dragons except for three purple dragon, the ice or snow dragon i assume and the fairy dragon any clue for these plz

That quote in above is quite old, considering it's now 2.41b. Names may have been changed and Triggers altered. There's no secret Ice/Snow Dragon, it's just one of the non-secrets, the Blue Dragon located at the top right of the map. Unless you mean Water Dragon?

Faerie Dragon has a hint given in secret by one of the approach npcs in Icra City/Dragon Knight Area. It requires crafting items together you find then becoming a Faerie Dragon while still a Non-Elemental Dragonet.

As for 'Three Purple Dragon' I don't know what you mean, do you mean just Purple Dragon? Shadow Dragon? Purple Hope Dragon?

actually i saw it in comments about the purple dragon someone named busool or something and may i know about the silver plz about the location where to transform after i collect all 3 silver pieces only the text is appearing i am silver but no location is pinged and one important thing that is I downloaded this map v.2.41b but its not appearing in the folder what can i do i am using frozen throne patch 1.31.1 which came before the reforged was launched. THIS IS WHAT HE SAID ABOUT THE PURPLE DRAGON IN SECOND ROW LAST ONE (

Huh, you're right. The version 2.41b isn't appearing in my Wc3 1.30.1 Client either. I'll give it a look and fix it. You can download version 2.41 on Epicwar as well.

CAAentertainment. I've got some questions as well.

1. The crimson wood scrolls. I noticed the last scroll mentions the lich, faerie and water essence. I have also noticed there is no faerie essence in the game and i've tried many different combinations of essences/crafting to see if I could activate whatever it is. Is this something that will be completed in a later ver?

2. Is the maker set of items intended to actually be crafted as a set together (icra forge that crafts sets)? As of now i've been unable to craft them together once I have all of them.

3. is the 3 honor items (2 from la'koria religion questline) supposed to be combined into a set item? If so i've been unable to.

4. I know where 5 of the 6 pieces of silver are currently (polarvale dryad, chuackles, Lokir, Hope quest, past the gate at the end of the Arana continent) where is the last one? (mostly want to know for when we're trying to get 2 people to go Silver in the game instead of them killing each other over pieces of silver)

5. For the main story quest. I noticed the prompt that if multiple factions (dragons, kayla, lakor, etcetera) complete their main quest it gets easier. Is this true and how? I haven't noticed much of a difference in 1 to 3 factions completing their main story in how the portal invasion happens.

6. is there a list of crafting recipes/sets anywhere? I've had multiple people ask, but between myself and the several others who consistently host/play this map we dont know much more beyond some basic weapons like the hammer or crafting up to a diamond set. I really want to try and use scathgore or ryuudite as well as the other materials found to make awesome stuff!

Silver (its said earlier in this thread) is simple, grab 3 pieces of silver, go to the circle in front of Christopher and say the phrase that pops up on your screen after grabbing the 3 pieces.

Water, be a blue dragon, not older than juvenile and go to the deepest part of the pond in the forest with night elves, say "Yes W".

Fairy. He gave you the hints, its also said elsewhere in this thread. It's pretty easy. If you need clues go to Icra city and you can get clues.

Hydra. Get essence at duke lake and go to the bubbles at duke lake as non-elemental.

Yes, first level to level 11 as a non-dragonet, it will give you a big hint. Find a Arcane Core, there are four scattered around the default Kayla map. head to Christopher10 at Old Ruins, enter the circle, type "yes p" without quotes

Sorry for late reply.

1. Faerie Essence does exist, you can craft it with Rubies and Ice Troll Shard. However, the scroll 'quest' it's something for the later version. Almost complete, it'll completely change the terrain area for Crimson Woods.


2. No, the Maker Items cannot be fused into a Set. Frankly put, it's a Wc3 Limitation that prevents me from adding more than a certain amount of abilities to an item.

3. No, they cannot be put into a set. Though I might be able too, haven't tried it.

4. A Silver Piece also drops or is nearby Titus, the Mad Dragon, who is in the old blue dragon nest in Aranna. You can get Titus's kill quest in the encampment south of the exit of the destroyed elven village.

5. Yes, it is true. The more slots that finish their Main Story Quest before the Invasion is activated, the easier the invasion. Each Slot (Except for Dragons who is altogether) can finish their Main Story Quest up to the Invasion point to prevent an additional portal from being activated and spawning units.
