I wanted to start this little thread as a way for people to name who they think are the biggest legends in the wc3 community. I personally would have to tip my hat to:

Born2Modificate-I wish his map had never been stopped. His models are the best anywhere and he still serves as an inspiration to me. I also wish his link to his map preview at wc3searc.h was not broken X(. . .could anyone possibly upload that map here? (I never got to see it)

Beam-Obviously ahead of his time, Beam wowed us with his amazing terraining skills and unprecedented creativity. I loved his tree village map.

Those are the people who inspire me most and keep me ticking when I get overwhelmed or stuck in the mud.

The person who originaly inspired me to start mapping was VGsatomi at wc3sear, then when I got use to the World Editor I didn't really look up to anyone though.

I would agree that born2modifacate has also inspirered me with some things.

I have also been inspired by Zurg, DaemonKillar and Iron_Ian with some of my cinematics.

I think that Jakob did the best ever as Duke Wintermaul, if not for him the vast majourity of TDs (including Warhammer) would not exist. Also I think Sked did a good job with Battleships.

Er...Duke wintermauls name is Russel...I talk to him all the time on MSN....But same here, he inspired me to start making maps. As well, I also look up to Sked, cuz he does that craz item combining and stuff with his battleships game, and I really enjoyed playing battleships. I also think that Lil_devil_child should be up there too. For those not 'in the know' he created the original Angel Arena. And yes, I know angel arena is a buggy always rigged piece of crap, but it is still ocassionally fun to play, and the guy had a lot of creativity, and it shows because his map is still hosted like nonstop. His use of engyptian mythology as well as different relgious symbolisms within an arena map is genuis. No two heroes were alike either.

Well, When I first started modding I wasen't a part of any wc3 sites like this one. But when I one day really needed help I joined Wc3sear.ch. There I posted a request about my problem. The next day I got a pm from a guy named bob27. He helped me with my problem and told me about The Hive. Some time later I got talking to Ralle. So now, Everytime I log on Msn bob27 and Ralle get to hear all about my problems. And they are so kind, they also solve them for me. I know I've been a pain in the ass, But I want to say thank you very much bob27 and Ralle for holding up with me.

So, bob27 and Ralle are both legends in the wc3 community for me.
