Hallo,
There are Problems bei loading. The items get lost or change. And the Lvl of the Tamer get back to 1 more times.
I played with the maker together and said its a very good map. and it is! :)
perhaps more life inside would be funnier. A storie.. More quests.. Events inside.. there is much to do.. :)

- The loading issues has to do with lots of data loading and reforge doesnot have a good support for that yet...
- The items changing happens if you play a version older then 1.1g, saves and try to load a new version, if you have the exactly items you had before and after, helps a lot to fix, (in older versions then 1.1g there was items not set in the save/load, that makes the system broken).
- The tamer level changing happens if you play a version older then 1.1g, saves and try to load a new version.
- Storie is already in the plans, so coming soon!
- More quests are already in the plans too, right now there is 7 quests around the map and many secrets to discover (areas, events,boss...)
- Im planning pvp events in the discord, also there is boss battles in the game

The quests improve the experience greatly for people who enjoy story/plot elements. This map seems like it has great potential, can't wait to see how it turns out.

We already have lots of contents : gyms, boss, secret areas, rare monsters, zone for pvp...
And much more is coming!!

A credits list in the map description with the names of the authors whose resources you've used is mandatory. That includes models, skins, icons, custom spells, systems. Also, sounds, music and everything outside this site.

Legendary Tamers is a map inspired by Pokemon, adapted to the format of Warcraft 3 without attempting to replicate the original directly. Damage and Armor types are incorporated as Pokemon types, and dual types incorporate a combination of these, making the most of an otherwise limited set. You catch monsters, train them and evolve them, focusing on their three stats.

The biggest difficulty I find myself running into, and I'm not sure if I'm missing something, is the start. You're a tamer on their own, and you start the game by talking to the Professor, to then talk to the shop owner to receive 5 "Catchballs". You don't get a starting monster, so you need to go out and catch a monster that is the same level (or lower) as your Tamer. This makes the start of the game very stagnant, and there is the potential of running into a dead end if you become unlucky with all your Catchballs. Pokemon games tend to start you with a level 5 starter Pokemon of your choice, whereas in this you have to go out and catch a level 2 monster at best.

If you do manage to get past this point, the leveling process is a real grind, especially as the map appears to incorporate ingame experience gain mechanics (and, with your Tamer and your Monster both being "heroes", they will split the experience). This could be adapted differently, I think. The grind becomes even harder when you're trying to pick monsters to fight one-on-one, as there is often the risk of other monsters seeing you and deciding to attack you at the same time. This is part of the risk of a real-time element added to any Pokemon game, especially in an RTS format such as Warcraft 3.

While the start can make the game a little boring at times, it does seem well designed. I'm curious to see what monsters evolve into, and really admire the use of damage and armor mechanics to represent different types (although the advantages and disadvantages are nowhere near as pronounced as they are in Pokemon). I am also of the understanding that this is still a work in progress, but as it is now, it is playable and goes well beyond being Simple or Substandard. There's a lot of work put into this, and while I do have my complaints about it, it is very playable and I can see the attraction Pokemon fans may have towards this mod (especially given it has multiplayer functionality to play around with). Good job so far, and good luck with your updates :)

PS - Your Save/Load mechanics are beautiful

I think that's where I went wrong, I talked to the Professor but I didn't select them... that makes a lot of sense now >.<

yes there are! hahaha
you can choose nature/aquatic/flame
you will get a random 7~15 IV monster at level 5

Oh and monsters doesnt share exp with the tamer or with other monsters, tamers just level lower then monsters... they all receive full experience, from quests and killing.

I hope that answer all your complaints! (and maybe inscrease the score of the map in the review ^^)

Oh and in F9 there are some tips and you can also type -tip for random tips.
