Legacy of Lordaeron is a custom singleplayer RPG campaign inspired by the Founding of Durotar campaign and World of Warcraft. The gameplay is basically an adventuring and questing style, levelling and unraveling the story. The object of this campaign is to complete quests while developing your heroes' abilities just like in the Founding of Durotar.

Important : Due to the new features implied in this campaign, this campaign will no longer work on any earlier versions of the game below patch 1.29.2. You can download the latest patch of Warcraft 3 via Battle.net or via the Warcraft 3 Launcher. (Requires CD-Keys)
You can, however, download an old version of the campaign which is compatible with patch 1.27a here. (This version will not receive anymore updates)


Note : The Transition among the campaign maps will not work if the filename of this campaign is too long.

Act One : - Fixed a bug in the Necrolyte's Quest. Black Dragon Claw and Eye of Shadow are now visible.
- Replaced Faranell in the Secret Mission (the underground cave) with Nathanos instead.
- Fixed the Death Knight's Ebon Might ability: It increases the damage by percent instead of a specified number, also this ability affect the DK only.
- Replaced the Hunter's Black Arrows ability with Poison Arrows.
- Replaced the Mage's Meteor Strike ability with Fire Bolt.
- Changed a bit the story of the Blackthorn's bandits.
- Small bug fixes and changes all over the maps of this act.
- Stash in now available in every map, including the sub-maps.
Act Two : - Reworked on all the maps of this act and added 3 new maps.
- Removed the Broken Isles and Den of the Warlock map.
- Replaced Galen's Death Pact ability with Inner Rage.
- Increased the Neutral Hostile units' damage, health and armor.
Act Three : - Map 1 : Changed the design and gameplay style of this map.

FAQ

- Q : Why do I get a black screen when I try to play this campaign?
- A: That's because you don't have the latest patch of Warcraft 3 installed. You need to update your Warcraft 3 version in order to play this campaign. (Currently it works only on patch above 1.29.2)
- Q: Why do I get back to the menu screen whenever I return from a sub-map?
- A: As I said above. You need to update your Warcraft 3 version to the latest patch.
- Q: If I rename the filename of this campaign, will it cause any bug?
- A: Yes, it will. The campaign transition will not work if the filename of this campaign is too long.
- Q : Why do I get back to the beginning of this campaign when I reload?
- A : It is possible that sometimes the transition will fail and you will get back to the beginning of this campaign, this occur even in Rexxar's campaign, my advice is to always backup your progress or make sure to save regularly to prevent losing your progress.

Is this in connected to the story of Tomoraider's Curse of the Forsaken campaign ?

only recently finished it and saw this campaign, I figured ok let's give it a try as it may kind of serve as a continuation
was expecting more of the Wc3 TFT campaign Forsaken but got my mind blown when I saw the same resources as Tomoraider's Forsaken

totally gonna enjoy this one!

In progress :) I am currently working on the template of Act two I didn't put the triggers for now, Although the progress is very slow nowadys...
All that matters is the progress is going and the campaign should be ready whenever it's done. It makes me really happy, since I haven't played the storyline of any Wow, so this campaign shows directly what happens after Wow: Wraith of the Lich King. I really enjoyed playing Tomorider's campaign and I just can't wait to see what happens next in you new act, Warseeker. Keep it going! :)

Hello everyone :) I just want to announce that I just released v1.5 for this campaign, this version includes :

- Transition System : The Transition system works now with multiboards, before stepping into a new zone, a dialogue will notifie you either you want/or not to access that zone.
- Fixed a bug which prevent Creep Respawn from working after the Transition.
- The Quest "Slay the Orcs" has now a different feature, You're no longer required to destroy ALL bases. All you have to do now is simply killing the enemy heroes.
- The Quest "Lost Val'kyr" will not be achieved if you didn't take the quest already.
- Added 2 more class to play : Death Knight - Hunter and Mage (original)
- Fixed a small bug in "Missing Ingredients" quest.
- Fixed bug in Blakthorn Quest, the Pedestals are now vulnerable.
- An improvement in the quests, cinematics description.
- A little bit change of the story and other things.

i got Aldrith Shadowbinder the bonus hero, but hes not having any skill , it is right ? now hes lvl 2, but nothing happens, as a hero he drain EXP on party but is useless if not having any skills .

Yeah, this is probably due because of changing his model in this version so I forget to add him skills but it's fixed now, Thanks for the head up :)

Strangely, I can't seem complete the odd vision quest. I am on the part where the worgen/alliance should destroy the Forsaken base but after defeating their forces nothing happens.
Indeed, I must have messed up with the triggers while I was updating this campaign but I fixed it now, thank you for letting me know :)
And I also fixed the same bug in the fourth map.

I will work more on the terrain during the next updates.

The difficulty level will be fixed, also those powerful creeps will be reduced.

I take all that under consideration, as a matter of fact, for the next update, I will give the player the opportunity to choose his own character between 6 class instead of the Death Mage only, including different spells, etc...
Also Fellson's Healing Spray ability has been replaced by Elixir of Death the last time I updated this thread ^^

Yeah it was a silly bug, I forgot to trigger the event, but no worry I'll fix this. btw the path to get there is passing a block of tree.

Are you referring to the quest ''Missing Ingredients'' where you were suppose to collect the plantes? If so I already made a visibilty on where you can find them, look at the minimap.
As for the human camp that's another quest that you will be given later (Odd Vision Quest) and yes the way to get there is blocked by a block of Trees, to get there you must take that mission first ^^

Anyway, I will fix all those bugs in the next update.

I dont know what must to do next. i killed all worgen in the southeast map, in forsaken base, and northwest map.
But after that, it is nothing to do with the mission.
And i went back to the undercity to meet sylvanas, but nothing happen.
And yes so it is, in the silverpine forest the worgen base is closed by tree.
It is bug?
Ohh.. one more thing, can you put a long conversation in the cinematic? that so fast man
i can't read that fast hahaha.

Same bug for me.As not enough if you skip cinematics Worgen forces won't attack Forsaken base at all.I believe that you're going to fix it but....my save files...uhh.

Also a little suggestion from me.Rename Bandit unit to "Scarlet Recruit' or something like that because right now it looks like bandit unit with just a different skin.

I also got stuck near the end, when you have to find the cause of the mystery or w/e... Couldn't progress any further.

Abilities are ok, not too creative but not bad.

The cinematic Should be a little longer so you can read them with ease and So understand the story...

Another time if you want to publish your campaign make sure you have a tester. And the custom game has been tested!

Now as for those who complain about repeating the quests from the beggining, I have a proposition : I can make a Debug for this campaign (a way to skip quests) If that doesn't bother you I can make that happen?

I can't believe how well made this is also can you make the howl of the dammed skill a passive ? the death knight are a nice damage dealer but necrotic blast makes him so strange to play it's basically drunken haze but without the fire breath i can't really do any real damage with it and i love the name you give the "Marchant" lol Hunter rely some what way too much on his spider to do damage and Mage is well......Mage he's still very balance i love the meteor strike actually and is the only skill out of 3 class that is actually an AOE skill and i just download 1.5 this morning and you release 1.6a at night lol
Edit:The Death Knight can't attack air unit for some reason i have searing blade and frostguard on him but he still can't attack air unit

Manage to finish it and I must say it is great, though the grammar errors are noticeable and sometimes I can't understand what they really mean. Some typos and misspellings like "Tirisfel" instead of "Tirisfal" and the "DreadGuard" the lacked of space between is quite annoying overtime I click the Dreadguard. Played the Rogue class. She's quite good though I think you made her critical strike multiplier too much? Also the terrain in the Royal Quarters (the place where sylvanas is) is wide and plain, you could atleast decorate it. Though the terrain overall is very good, just some of the areas in Undercity are quite lonely.

Anyway love to see the Act 2.

Your campaign is really unique in the website since it is a good blend between story-driving and rpg, especially with the terrain and character design. If it is possible, can you change the fire mage into an arcane mage (since I think fire mage is quite a cliché here)? The decision is yours but if you are interest, I can send specific resources like icon and effects so you don't have to search for them yourself and (in my opinion), the purple effect will suit an undead mage than a fire mage. Please continue your good work!!!:):):)

Ok, so I've done minor changes for this map like Charge ability, now this ability target a specified unit instead of a random unit (dealing damage and stun), also the Frostguard/Searning Blade can be used to attack air units thanks to the suggestion of @DarkSword123. In addition, I added costum sounds for this campaign.
More updates will come soon.

Help... when i go to tirisfall map area the hero didn't appear same thing happened whether i travel to another tunnels is it my WC3 error or the map is corrupt?

I played only the chapter one.

The quotes of the Hunter and the Rogue was the same, They were not Undead quotes, but normal quotes, you could but Sylvanas quotes, or any other Undead quotes.

The lore is kind of absent and the dialogues are soooooo looooooong.

The map is sooooo big and the first mission too.
It was a challenge to finish it all.

Units are expensive but die so easily.. And that's so sad, and unfairly hard.

Version 1.6a :

- Added a Drop items system
- Added two more class to play : Rogue - Warrior
- I made the cinematics transmission a little bit longer

Now as for those who complain about repeating the quests from the beggining, I have a proposition : I can make a Debug for this campaign (a way to skip quests) If that doesn't bother you I can make that happen?

In the side quest to get aldrith i got the eye of despair before i even got the quest from him then after i got the quest it didnt work .

And in case your wondering how i got the eye, i destroyed the tree on the side of the camp not the one in front of it .

No problem, that quest will be fixed, also I may change/add few things for this act soon
As of now, I am working on act two and three (3 maps are currently done, only triggers remains) which means still got 4 maps to work on (this includes both act two and three)
Anyway, This new version should be ready by summer, act two and three will be uploaded in v2.0 : )

Yo Warseeker! First off great campaign, I especially enjoy the ability to pick a class (personally I'm doing it as each different class, to see which is most interesting.)

Second, Blizzard released patch 1.28, so you may wanna check on that and also maybe change the link under the 'Known Issues' section to that patch.

Keep on keepin' on with the campaign mate!

I want to announce that Act Two : Rallying the Dead is now complete, but I won't be updating this campaign yet, I will first work on the two last maps of act three for a complete version of this campaign, including many improvements for act one.

Hell yeah best news i've heard all day just finish 7 play through as Rouge she was the best assassin i love it and i love how broken she is
