This is a cryptlord skin i've been working on, representing him as something like volcanic version of himself. 2 Screenies inc, tell me what you think. I'll fix if there are some obvious stuff that i missed and i think i'll upload it here then.

First Version: Some parts not finished

Second Version: As it is now

Do you think that the shields on his sides should be shaded darker?

Looks really good, I like the effect. Did you edit the little critter's skins as well, or do they pull there texture from the team-colored parts on the Crypt Lord.

You need to get away from the basic layout of the Crypt Lord skin
You have done alot of freehand, but it still looks like a Crypt Lord, you've been working just slightly over his original layout
DO SOME NEW THINGS!

Like, Alphaing out the legs to make it look like a floating battlebug? :p

Seriously, only way to make the Crypt Lord model not look like a giant bug that it is is: Skinning the shells at the top to represent leaves (This is assuming that parts of them are alphable out.), making it look like a giant super-duper plant instead.

I think i gotta work on the edges of shells etc next, they really burn your eye by having no good blending with the rest of the bug..

You could alpha out his legs, make his movement close to the ground, make it look like the parts OF his legs that are still there are lava, and make fire effects on the ground

...So yes that could be a cool idea ;)
