The zoom on those models is ugly. I don't really understand what this is. I never really liked closeup shots, to be truthful :)

Hmm, I suppose the models are a bit too low res for close ups..

Some doodads like the mushrooms don't fit at all.It is too close and all you can see is some green things and rain.

It's all meant to be green anyway and the rain is meant to be there..

This isn't a terrain, all you can see is a skull, some plants and a tree

Meh... It was only something I whipped up quickly.. I'm working on some house in the middle of a forest right now :D

good, i think it's gonna look nice(or atleast I hope;p)

Yeah, I still can't get it the way I'm wanting it, due to the fact I'm having problems 'building' the actual house... I decided to start again because I didn't think Ashenvale quite cut it for what I was trying to make.

If you just wanna do a quick terrain, I suggest you do path curving into some trees - rather dense too, with quite a bit of shrubbery.

Hmm, I'll take that into consideration!

I made it in layers because usually when I'm walking down paths I'd see the path, then the shrubs then the trees...

The Felwood Sky never has been very good, but it was the best I could get to suit the nighttime path.

As for the pixelalted tile, i have no way of getting around that, seeing as Vista chews up so much of my RAM that everything else is slow as that snail, or that tortoise... It makes placing mass shrubs very laggy :<

ya i think if you would change the camera angle, to stop it from almost being flat on the ground, it would look a lot better.

The water seems to be little too dark blue. As for the coloring, set the water color the same as for the waterfall(or just fuck around with the colors untill you like it:))

And in the second pic, all the growth is at the trees. Use growth everywhere where there is grass.

These 2 pics are not good and you shall practice more. The forest looks really ugly because you put there a lot of shrubs. The waterfall is made good either.

If you read before posting, you'd see it is a WIP. Also, I am not working on this for a while as I am using every minute of my day using up WoW until I go away for a week.

And why dont you explain how the waterfall isnt made well, and how I could improve it. Oh, and if you have ever been outside to a forest you shall find there would be shrubs all over.

Parkietje, the water tinting colour is set to dark blue, and I'm trying to get the waterfall the same colour, although I think a more greyish tint would look better, seeing as I prefer to set my terrains during the night, and usually water at the night doesn't look ever so blue :p
Oh, and there isn't much forestry there as I am placing a road there, and forestry around it, I was just moving the camp around so that it wasn't ever so close to the woods.
