Oh! The bugs will be fixed.

Remote mines: if triggered by animals, will explode for nothing, being very expensive weapon.
I will remove the engine from boat recipe - I see it wasn't right.
Plant seeds grow while gaining mana. When mana is full and if the herb hasn't withered (health=0), you must attack the plant and you get 1-3 plants. Raining (also Totem raining) heals all plants on the map and gives them additional mana, so they wither slower and grow faster. Snowing hurts them, wind hurts them less, but in addition takes mana from them.

Yea i know but i planted 10 seeds and only 6 of the plants did drop any herbs after killing them (they had 20 mana and about 1/3 of their hp)
and after i planted the 9! i got out of the 10 also only 1 in 2 did drop any herbs...

Bears:
somehow bears are REALY rare in lategame because some get killed, some die out becuase they do not grow children and there are not that many sporns any way.
My idea is to give bears a 100% chanche to grow a child ( they have a long circle anyway) only a small chance to grow 2 and no chanche to grow 3. this way bear sporns wont die out on theyr own and there wont be to many bears because they mostly get only 1 child aftger a long time.

The main Problem is, that bearpelts are needed to create carrier horses wich become realy important in lategame because ur troll normaly uses all his inventoryslots.
and because there are not as many bears as other animals the extinction (or nearly extinction) happens to be a serious problem. I mostly play alone right now or with 1 friend but if there are 3 full teams and there are about 5 bears on the map because the rest just vanished there is nearly no way to get ( or to replace killed ) carrier horses.
Even if playing alone i always have plenty pigskins and wolf furs but geting a bear fur is realy hard especialy if ur trying NOT to whipe out another sporn. And playing solo i dont have to worry about enemy eterritory or othe rtrolls killing my horse/s.
I just mentioned disabeling the sporn of 3 litle bears to balance the total number of bears in a place if there is a garante to grow a litle bear.

Yea that could solve the problem. god Idea

Found another bug: units stunned with a thrown axe are no possibile targets for a gun or a grenade ( mostly play inventor so i dont know about the other items right now)

The Tooltip of the sigemachine in the inventors WorkShop and the tooltip of the actual ability give difrent informations:
WorkShop: 15sec cooldown 1500 range 150 dmg
Hurl Rock: 10sec cooldown 2000 range 200 dmg

I got a new idea to build defense: instead of walls why not use a digging which is not suppoused to be attaced but to be filled with something to pass (eq throw a stone at it so fill the digging and walk through)

I used to play this map a lot long time ago ( 5.5 and before^^) and now that i rediscowered it some time ago but it did not work^^ and not taht it actualy is working again i play it a lot and want to help improve it

CAN'T revive say ghost is organic so miracle doesn't work.. and for some reason shaman can heal ghost...

and i think u should make 2 boats 1 that u can make with just wood and rope and 1 that has inventory(faster) that u can make with engine...
boat is not that useful on map...

i reported the revive but some time ago the fix is suppoused to be released soon and the boat will be build without engine again (at least i think that is what he said)^^

O, I appreciate any criticism as a help!
And there are bugs and they are being fixed just now. Sad I wouldn't make it with all of them today, but tomorrow evening I will continue.
Boat crafting already fixed, also some Dismount and Dissasemble issues; I think I fixed the problem with non working mana stone drop from mines; the ghost problem was easily fixed of course. Testing now. There are many more in the list, processing one by one. Some problems take time and testing until I figure out what's wrong. You know what, a single map save takes about 5 minutes...

Strange. Now I tested it. I planted 5 of evey type and got herbs from all - total of 8 draximor, 11 corian, 11 bardane, 8 aria.
Leaving it alone for now.

Just a quick something that I noticed: i couldn't get your bone armour to craft. I had a wolf coat and 3 bones in the armoury, in that order, and it wouldn't make the bone armour :(

Going to go continue on.

Edit: I got 4 chitins, and it crafted fine. So perhaps it is just the warmth clothing (or just wolf) that gives a problem?

was wondering if we call the bosses god like bear god bat god.....etc and make em like quest...
and dying slowly as a ghost kinda ruins things....give ghost at least 3 days before dies....and is shaman heal on ghost bug?

Seralas, I will check out if there's a bug.
co_oki, bosses are already made as a quest! And this actually solves the problem of kertas with Bear and Alligator pelts: boss quests are repeatable (but they appear usually in middle game, it depends on chance and the count of minor quests already completed). And bosses give double pelts ;)
Dying slowly as a ghost is a good simple fix for the problem of defeated players who refuse to leave the game. And Shaman and Totem Heal keeps it from being too harsh decision for the normal gameplay of players who have their tribe alive and playing.

Well because u can only get 1 quest per day and the chanche of geting the boss quests is not that high.... it would take about 15 days (probably more) to get the bearpelts because ud have to w8 for the quest go there and (if not in team 2) probably have to go there be4 the team that lives in the lower left corner, wich probably wants to kill the boss as well, gets there.
Not realy acceptabile just to get carrierhorses / realy warm clothing

btw the only bossquest i got during all the games was the giant vulture so the chanche of getting the bear seems to be REALY low... or maybe the vulture has to be killed be4 the next bos quest is availibile?
Anywayeven thou the bosses are realy strong i dont think they should be gods. killing gods would be a litle xtreme^^

kertas, the more minor quests you do, the higher gets the probability a boss to arrive. The chance of getting a boss in day 1 is really low, but after you have completed 5-10 quests it gets very likely a boss to come. Besides this one there is no strict rule for the order of appearance. There is a slightly better chance for the Wolf to appear sooner than the Vulture for example, but you see it is not obligatory.
As for the pelts - the jungle changes and many things may differ from game to game, so the player must build his tactics around the circumstances, not the opposite. In one game you will have more bear furs, in another - more mana stone. React to the environment!
As for the lag - there is a little I could do. I'm not a programmer and the game is heavy anyway, it needs resources for checking a bunch of triggers every second. I have reworked many functions to escape from using variables for example... But I need them for some things. Besides, I don't really know what was crapped in WE functions thanks to last Blizzard patch.

Im not very optimistic about having so many classes, the more you have the more inbalances you have to correct and the more it feels like DOTA to me...

No, it's not a bug. The tooltip says "S1: Any Coat", but it should be "Any Leather Coat".
Fur coats can be upgraded only once, for additional warmth (useful for survival). Leather coats can be upgraded three times to bone armor, iron armor and mithril armor (useful for battle).

how about something new for late-game gameplay?
make the classes more specialized by adding quest or something like that for +-lvl 7.
ex: warior-> breseker/defender
may be the battle will become more interesting.


also how about use wearing system? so different weapon/armor different model too .

I think the map would be to heavy if he would ad all the difrent models and such things and the combat is fine right now.(my opinion) because it realy depends on the items wich would count less with more class variations

If anything, I think the map has too much information in it as it stands seeing as it does have a delay from the start, gets kinda unbearable about 40 mins into the game.

Ok thanks, that makes sense.

I've been playing through single player with some of the classes (some more) and there are several gameplay issues/quality of experience improvements that I think you could make (forgive me if they have been mentioned/dealt with already.

1) Make the fire selection area bigger (if possible). Its actually quite fiddly to drop wood/food onto it, and even though I have played it for numerous hours already, I still have to concentrate when doing it and sometimes still miss (perhaps it is just me?)

2) Shop/tower only has one slot - means that you can only buy at one time, or sell at one time. Also complicates stacking - have to take out gold first before stacking. Same with tower regarding stacking.

3) Stacking - I don't know if you can fix this, but a lot of my time picking up items is spent dropping something, so that I can stack something else, then picking up what I dropped. This would be a massive improvement (and would invalidate most of point two).

I find the game really fun and well made, but it would be very complicated to figure out in multiplayer, as it is in single player even when there is no pressure! Still need to look to see how to get gunpower with inventor...

Edit: I haven't seen anywhere that states which class can use which weapons/clothing/boots. That would be a great help. I can just imagine what a bad experience it would be online to work towards an item, then find out your class couldn't use it. Its happened to me several times now. I'm going presume that the general rule is that healer/inventor can't use armour, only warm clothing.

Is that correct.

Still need to look to see how to get gunpower with inventor...

Thats simple just put a flint in slot 1 go to the inventor crafting and klick "craft black powder"

and btw: it is a litle complicated but if u know how the map works it is gets easyer

EDIT:

that is something that was on the old loading screen^^ Items have levels ( as u probably know allready )

Shaman: lvl 1 items
Inventor: lvl 2 items
Hunter: lvl 3 items
Warrior: lvl 4 items

of course they can also use the items of lower levels^^
class items like guns bows traps usw can only be used by the class that crafted them!

Now fixing some little issues (+ some of Seralas suggestions 1 and 2) and I'll upload the map.
I cannot fix some bugs.
However, the game works almost fine.

Seralas, I cannot make stacking work correctly when all inventory slots are full.

As for the item levels and other game info - soon I will begin to work on the game's website and explain whatever I can simple and clear. I know this is needed, but I decided to make the game first and to write about it later :p
Now I should be able to find some time for it.

No more major bugs?

Not any that I have noticed. I did get a memory error, but that is to be expected in single player I suppose.

Is there any way to limit the number of total objects (items/animals) on the map at any one time? That might help with the general problem of lag (online) I reckon (?).

Greetings, I wish to tell about errors in game:
1) Shop disassemble
2) Javelin disassemble (throwing)
3) Pick disassemble
4) The imposed spells do not pass during a coma
For example: healing
Suggestions:
1) remove the animation of healing from eating
2) return dire troll
