I suggest gmax... Milkshape requested some register after 30 days and so, I couldn't use it anymore. And besides, I found gmax easier. Plus there are some neat tutorials. I'll post links here if you want.

i cant just SPEND money...

i cant just spend money bcause of what i want bcause i need to get stuff that i need with money. I dont care if a modeler sucks as long as it edits wc3 models

There are some basic modeling tutorialss are wc3campaings.com, most of which are by oinkerwinkle. Go there to learn the absolute basics. But keep in mind his tuts are for 3dmax.
