Are you referring to the Chaos ability (Srtt)? Well, it's an ability, it has basically nothing to do with how triggers work. You are doing something wrong in the trigger then/do not apply Chaos properly (but because of its own mechanics). Perhaps you are trying to chaos-morph a unit twice immediately but it possesses a delay, therefore skipping one.

You can check the return value of UnitAddAbility to see if it accepts the ability giving. In any way check the parameters. Have you rendered the last Chaos ability permanent with UnitMakeAbilityPermanent? Respectively have you given Chaos in the object editor? Try to avoid overlappings. But well, guess it comes down to us checking your exact map scenario for the mistake.

i dont have the trigger anymore so i cant post it. i need to transform units with items intact and in 2 steps. the first step is the spell that is based on channel. the unit then transforms into a metapod where it later becomes a different unit after a timer. i tried to remove chaos before adding the new version but it still doesnt work. the unit gets stuck on the metapod stage every time.
