Increase light range for unit

i need to increase the range of the light aura a unit has, so that he can see more into the distance, how do i do that?

yeah if its dark in an area and u walk there with ur hero it becomes lighter, i want to know how to increase, decrease how big this aura is or remove it completely

Well you can find this in the object editor and just select the unit you want to edit and look for the "Stats" section.

Yep, it's called Sight radius. It can be set between 0 and 1800, and has separate fields for day and night.

Probably more than 1800 if you hold shift when you enter the value.
