I have a little trouble about "icon" in WE. someone can tell me how to make a passive item icon

Explain a bit more by "passive"... Do you mean disabled/greyed out or no yellow borders around the icon? If so then find a disabled or removed yellow borders version of the icon you wanted.

I think he means by no borders, like every other passive icon.

Anyways, yeah, just remove the borders, being careful with the icon itself. You can change the opacity of the ends of the icon also(if you layer it i think), if I remember that is what I read in a tutorial a long, long time ago.

I want an item icon, but it is passive (not active). Like this: (item Searing Blade)
its raw code is: ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNArcaniteMelee.blp
I type a new raw code for it: ReplaceableTextures\PassiveButtons\PASBTNArcaniteMelee.blp
but it not work??? who can help me?

Not every active icon has an associate passive icon.

And you haven't typed raw code, but the icon's path in mpq.

Convert the icon in bmp, jpg, or another format, and edit it with Gimp, Photoshop, Paint (not advised that one), etc... then reconvert it in blp.
