Hi all,
What I'm searching for are buttons for actions of a Traderoute.
A traderoute is a set of trade commands ( like buy 5 wood in Tradepoint 1 ),
and the actions are:
-Show ( shows the players traderoute )
-Record ( Records the actions a player does and writes them to the traderoute )
-Stop recording ( Stops recording the actions of a player )
-Start Traderoute ( starts the traderoute )
-Reset ( Removes all commands from the traderoute )

The icons should all fit together, and be intuitively.

This is what a traderoute might look like:
( inactive, currently )

Now with a click on "Show button", this message shows up.
With a click on "Start route", the Pilot starts to go to the first tradepoint, perform the trade actions there, then go to the next one and so on until the user orders the unit to do something else.
A click on "Reset" should remove the content of the traderoute, like in the following screenshot (here: done with the chat command):

and a click on "Record" should record manual trading, "Stop recording" just would retrieve all recorded data and save it into the traderoute( like seen above ) so that it can be automatically performed with "start route".

You will get credit in my map ( Battleships Antarctica ), and if you have an account on thehelper you will get +rep there too ( i can't give out +rep here it seems, sorry )

Thanks in advance,
SerraAvenger

These are my thoughts

-Show: A picture of a scroll (with text) with a looking glass resting on top.
-Record: A blank scroll with a quill on the paper and ink next to it
-Stop recording: The scroll with text completed and the quill back in the ink
-Start Traderoute: The scroll with a seal stamped on the bottom of it, with an embedded 'play' triangle in the seal
-Reset: The completed scroll with the bottom edge on fire.

If these ideas sound good to you lemme know and I'll create them

wow, these ideas are just.. incredible = )
I had rather thought of something more technical (like the replay buttons), but this is much more amazing, and adds to the atmosphere : )

Rate it so I know what needs changing or how I should approach the others

I would rate it 11 out of 10. ( 4/3 on awesomeness, 5/4 on detail ( buy ftw! ) and 2/3 on atmosphere )
Although, if you don't mind, the looking glass and the grey bars on the scroll would be much appreciated in brown ( some sort of wood, that is ) ; )

With this Icon, you saved my day : D

: O *gasp*
Wow, this one is really awesome. I love the color of the scroll even more than the one of the first one, it really seems so.. Paperish ; )

I'm really sorry I couldn't add to your reputation, this stuff really would've deserved a lot of +rep.

You're sure you don't use magic for the creation of these Uber-buttons?^^

Keep up the good work!

If it's all good I'll finalize and give them disabled buttons and then hand them to you in a zip folder.

Thanks for the nice comments tho, and rep doesn't matter. Most people I do requests for don't have any either. I don't need a numbered gemstone to tell me I'm cool ;)

Would it be possible to do the green seal in red? It would fit better to the other icon that shows a red seal actually ; )
Apart from that tiny discrepancy, It is just awesome. I assume you have also done these freehand?
Really, incredible : )

No I didn't completely hand draw the last few. The quill feather is an edited CnP, when I googled a reference pic it was exactly the colour and shape I had in my mind so I didn't bother free handing it, just edited it to look more cartoon like then rl. I used the outline of a wax seal stock too, to base the shape of my seal off (only because I got lazy lol)

I originally did the seal in red, but then changed it to green because well being the start route button, I thought 'green for go' would set it apart from the 'red for stop' seal on the record stop button.

I have converted all the icons to .blp as well as kept the .tga's in the folder.

Oh, I put these examples in a thread in the graphics section on thehelper and a mod repped me lol!

(oh and the red example of the seal looks kind of blurry up there ^ dunno why, think it's just the site I uploaded the pics on fucking me around because the originals look better)

Thanks again, you really helped me out : )

EDIT: just looked at them in the actual TGA files and was like zomfg that's really amazing!
A tiny advice: Change your image hosting service! They look twice as good in reality!
