Sadly, you can't view it like this. However, here's how you can go out far above: I'll show you in a minute.

HERES HOW TO DO IT:

Scroll out with your mouse middle thingy until the screen is black for four seconds.
EDIT: Use the third button on bottom left of keyboard and scroll out. The black will uncover the map way above. Enjoy.
