how to open .BAK files that WEU save?

Hi, i am curently (and most of time) mapping. my only problem is that weu is starting to be fucked up till the new patch 1.21... and now, my map is scraped... well it is NOW but at the last save of the .bak its not. I dont remember how to convers .bak to .w3m (the map dont need expention yet).

Anyone can say me how i can open/convert the file?

EDIT: Comon guys, its about 1hrs and no reply... its a simple question.

Well, thanks anyway but it dont work. WEU dont wan to open .bak it just say its nor a valid file.

p.s. problem fixed, took less time to start over with all the time passed.

just rename *bak to w3x

i am not "impatient" i just said (in my second post) that i found a faster way. I mean that its beter to get the fastest way. but its true that the way i said it, it was "stupid" of me. Forgive me but theyse last day i got lots problem on my family and it make me realy nervous...

just rename *bak to w3x

tried alredy. the file is just "<name>" there is no extention but the type is .bak . if i put .w3x or .w3m it just make it <the name>.w3m.bak

anyway problem fixed.

EDIT: by the way, does anyone know a good editor because WEU dont work corectely with the new patch. I know that the normal editor got all what i need but mine is french and am completely lost in it. I does speak french even beter then english BUT the traduction realy suks and most things are a mix of french and english. If it exits, i would like that someone post me a link of a editor (the normal one or a good one like WEU) that is english.
