how to alpha out orc grunt's weapon?

i opened grunt.tga, alphaed out the weapon, converted back to blp, imported it, set up the correct custom path, but the weapon is still there

Was the weapon all team color? Check your pathes again because if it was using the correct path is should either be gone or all team color. Also did you save the map?
