how do you send a spell to the spellbook?

i am making a warlock for an orpg and have a dialog to choose either a fel guard or fel hunter as a pet, how do i make the trigger add the spell to the warlocks spell book?

Disabled spellbook with the same order ID as a spellbook which it does have, containing the spell you want to add to the spellbook.

what? i didnt really understand.. so i pretty much copy and paste the spell book, do i add the ability to the dummy spellbook, or what?

Real spellbook. Doesn't contain the ability you want to add. Has order ID X.
Dummy spellbook. Disabled for the player. Contains the ability you wish to add. Also has order ID X.

Real spellbook already on the unit, add the dummy spellbook to add the ability in the dummy spellbook to the real spellbook.
