[Trigger] How do I make an event start from an arrow skill?

That only works on a manual cast. How do I get it to work for the autocasts?



Also (complaint), why isn't there a - unit Takes damage event? . . .

Any of these should work:
  • Events
  • Unit - a unit Finishes casting an ability
  • Unit - a unit Begins channeling an ability
  • Unit - a unit Begins casting an ability
but you may have to define the type of unit becuase this is in genral for every unit

Also (complaint), why isn't there a - unit Takes damage event? . . .

  • Events
    • Unit - A unit Is attacked
This really means the same thing, but if your looking for more specific like when the units health is a certain amout youll need to use unit groups to define which ones your talking about or use this

Your complaints is uneccesary, since it won't be fixed anyways. And there is a Takes damage event, it just leaks.
I believe you'll have to use orders for the autocast.
