i want to make the user interface smaller or gone can someone help me do that?

You can edit the UI files to reduce/eliminate the graphic portion. (i.e. not the buttons, just the borders and junk)

But aside from that, you can't reduce the interface size/eliminate it.

There is always the option of turning on letterbox mode, but that leaves the letterbox borders. I have not tried using an alpha texture for it though.. See the cinematic tips link in my signature to see how to edit the texture file used for the letterbox mode (cinematic borders), and you can try replacing it with a texture that has an alpha channel with the entire texture being transparent.

what about using a nothing replaceable texture to make it look like the ui is gone?

Yeah, but "Gone UI" means unit data, buttons, inventory items, and minimap "float" in a black rectangle..

The problem is that there is nothing behind the user interface. I get the impression that you think that if you removed the interface, the player could see more of the game. However, if you remove the interface, that will just leave a big, black space where it once was. This, to my knowledge, cannot be removed.
