How do I disable Messenger Service Pop-ups...?

O.K....this has really been bothering me alot...while I'm on battle.net, these pop-ups keep appearing and I have to minimize the game and close it. When I restore the game, I lagged out, everyone dropped me...ugh....how do I fix this?

----From here you should scroll down, and find messenger. Click "Stop," and then set it to disabled. Bye bye to all those freaking popups
