How could i make a poison gas ability?

Like the skill of alchemist in dota poison shower i think.

a dummy unit with perma imolation and a devotion aura that gives negative value in defense that targets enemies.

Just in case geohound asks: Negative values can be set by holding shift and double clicking the field you want to set to negative. And in the file menu, when your preferences have to be set to allow neg values.
