Map Info:
Build an army on your territory. Every round, your army spawns to fight either against randomised creep waves, or against another player's army. You have no direct control over your army after it spawns; your role is to build the right units in the right formation and gave them correct orders. Victory is achieved by acquiring a set number of Victory Points, gained by beating other players' armies.

Demons When using these tactics, I did not lose a single life (that depends of bosses abilities).

Cobold Taskmaster (no upgrades)

1. 8 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP). 6 Warriors set to charge after 7sec. Lightining to enemy Range Cobold - 3mana.
2. Astral Hound (charge 3 sec) + 2 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP). Lightining to enemy Range Cobold - 3mana.
3. Almost random units and behaviors + Rain of Fire (7mana). 1-3 against all types of Cobold.
4. 6 Archers (Flee at 50% and 7 sec Charge). Lightining to enemy Range Cobold - 3mana. 4 Weak Against Teleport Cobold Without using Landscape and Random Events. Sometimes I can kill him without mana (Volcano, Roots or Goblin Mine can help).

Dark Troll Lord (Upgrade: Haste - lvl 2, Food - 2)

1. Astral Hound, 3 Archers (Flee 50%), 8 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP). All Units set to 7 sec charge. Lightning to enemy Troll Guard - 3mana.
2. 2 Astral Hound(Flee at 50%), Hound, 3 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP). All Units set to 7 sec charge. Rift - 4mana.
3. 4 Hounds, 3 Archers (Flee at 50%), 3 Demon Warriors (Flee at 50%) All Units set to 7 sec charge. Lightning on enemy Troll Guard – 3 mana.
4. 2 Hound, 6 Archers (Flee 50%), 5 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP) – All Units set to 7 sec charge. Two Lightning on two enemy Troll Guards – 6 mana. Troll with Goblin miners – can destroy all this builds. Fire Huntress can help you with it, but you can lost lives before wave 10.

Behemoth (Upgrade: Haste - lvl 5 Melee Armor 1, Melee Attack 1, Food 3)

1. Lord Xavius, Slasher, Astral Hound, 3 Archers (Flee 50%), 8 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP). All Units, except Slasher, set to 7 sec charge. Posses Lord Xavius – 2 mana. (can take 3-5 min)
2. Astral Hound(Flee at 50%), 3 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP). All Units set to 7 sec charge. Rift – 4 mana.
3. 1 Wizard Slayer, 3 Hounds, 3 Astral Huntress, 5 Archers (Flee at 50%, 1 Flank Left, 2 Flank Right), 3 Demon Warriors (Flee at 50%). All Units set to 7 sec charge, except Demon Warriors(3 sec charge). Rift – 4 mana. 1-3 Behemoth with murlocks can kill you.
4. 1 Wizard Slayer, 1 Hound, 8 Archers, (Flee 50%, 2 set to flank left, 4 set to flank right), 2 Fire Huntress (Build at Bottom Left and Bottom Right corners),5 Demon Warriors(Set to Flee at 50% HP) – All Units set to 7 sec charge, except Demon Warriors(3 sec charge). Two Rift – 8 mana. Build Against Murlocks. Usually Demons have no problems with enemies after Behemoth.

Great infernals and Ancient Annihilators set to charge after 3 sec (because of Cravlers "Stomp" ability),

Features:

  8. Many options and army styles to choose from, and designed to all be viable. Holy war isn't a game where the winning strategy is to simply spam a powerful unit; every build and every strategy has a counter.
  9. Set custom behaviours on your units; e.g. to have them perform a tactical retreat when near death, or flank your enemy's army.

Multiple game modes: Survival (leak X amount of waves to lose, last player wins), Classic (as described above) and Tournament (you fight against players each round), Overlords (Play survival mode as powerful boss); each of which can be customised with Short/Medium/Long and Allpick/Draft/All-random/Alliance

edit: we tested again but with version 1.21 and 1.11, alliance mode but with less players, we got to round 51 before it crashed, seems like it cant handle the amount of units it spawns and then crashes?

maybe a memory leak or something with alliance mode? regular ap/sd/random works just fine

The problem you have there with that crash is Succubus

Building her interacts fucked up with a specific unit from the wave, but no real idea which one (The ability she has isn't coded what the effect is for that unit is my predication)

Just some other bug reports I have but never felt like sending in:

The 2 player co-op event frequently fails to conclude (presumably due to a zombie on the wall that doesn't want to come over and play)
In this event the most common occurrence leads to red(or the top player) timing out but the other player not timing out. The player who doesn't time out, then gets all the gold when the other player times out.

Most of the time from there, the only solution is to -endround, doing this then leads to both players failing, but sometimes one or both players succeed from here anyways. It feels random.

In alliance mode Unit caps are not respected for units build from the builder (Imo this is a really fun bug and what makes alliance mode fun, so please don't remove it, make it an intended feature perhaps by allowing the same for upgrade based units(In which case the portal cannon should get the same treatment as the meat wagon summons did recently)

Hi , is 1.32a the last version ? Also is there a possibility where you can update all the old models with reforged models ? Like orc spearman , Kil'jaeden , succubus , Orgrim etc ?
One more thing , the map sometimes crashes sspecially in later rounds when there are many units fighting one another, is this something common ?
Have you considered in expanding the map with more races for example ? Thanks !

Edit: During creep waves and duels , some melee units change targets continuously and they move around for 5-10 seconds without attacking. Is this intended ? Do they used the attack move command ?

Really good map !
I am not sure if all race are balanced, I had some trouble with undead, as melee you have only giant end game and mage for chaos damage but have a really short range and no hp upgr.
And found demon race pretty easy to play with all their aoe and chaos damage, not really hard.

Got the same bugs sometimes where with 2 players we beat the undead bonus round but still lose a life ??

Really great wish for more race in the future but I don't think it will happen..

Hi, I hope yall are doing well in this time of crisis.

This is a very good map, I enjoy it a lot BUT it needs some update since I encounter some bugs and one of them is game-breaking. Note that English is my second language so there will be some grammars error.

Some of the bugs that I encounter are actually quite similar to what DemonHunterGI mentioned above

1. Gold Income level 20 is bugged. The way in which it is bugged is once you maxed out gold income it gives you 5-15 gold for reward/compensation. If you stay at level 19 gold income then it gives you 100-600(the higher the level the more gold you will receive) golds as reward/compensation. I found out about this bug for a long time(2-3 years ago maybe) but I didn't report it because I can bear with it but then people keep telling each other about this bug so I figure why not report it.

2. Terrain, I don't know if this is a bug or not but if you pick random terrain in the beginning 90% it will be dwarf terrain. The one terrain with mine in it and it sucks. Why they suck? I get that the mine is randomly placed in the player area but sometimes it is placed at the spawn area of the player/ creeps. What that does is the mines will kill units from both sides and it is a massive disadvantage for that player and sometimes that player ends up quitting the game for like 5 rounds.

3. During creep waves, duels, and 2v2/3v3(the round after special event where players fight each other) some melee units change targets continuously and they move around for 5-10 seconds without attacking (DemonHunterGI). Also, sometimes melee units just went straight for my range unit and skip the majority of my frontline. I think that is because the majority of melee units from both sides just focusing at the center of the battlefield for some reason so there some empty space for the melee to go to the backline.

4. This is the game-breaking one. I and my friend play this map a couple of times together with a full house and around level 15 he just got forced out to the scoring board. I know that this also happens to many others and it getting worse and worse.

5. The special event, there are 2 areas for a special event. The top one has 4 players and the right-side with 2 players. The right side has a bug that happens quite rarely where the players beat all the creeps but the round did not end. The only way to end the round is to type -endround but the 2 players lost 1 live and all that goodie gold.

I agreed with others that if you can, please add more races to this map.

I think it is because of new patches and stuff. Maps made in the last editor version are not visible with old patched Warcraft.
Blizzard did a really good job f--king up their game. Get the new update if u can. There was a post on hive that had 1.31 backup of warcraft. I don't know if it is still there.

Sorry if I am being negative. I am still mad at Blizzard.

It still hurts. I had a huge campaign and it was almost 50% done. I took a break because of my life problems hoping that when I come back reforged make things much easier. I came back after 18 months and ... I have never been disappointed about Blizzard this much.

Next time, you should read the "Recommended Version" tag before downloading the map.
"Warcraft 3: Reforged" and "Current" means you can ONLY play the game on the latest version of WC3, which is 1.32.10.

I've been playing this map for a long time but lately it crashes almost every game in later rounds, its a shame because many people in the community enjoy playing this map, i dont care about adding more stuff just want to know if someone knows a way to dont get the crash of if we can get an update atlast for the crashes.

Having some issues with latest version.
1.32a
alliance mode/normal mode
reforge
Over 7 games period, all full house over bnet:

Randomly losing life in events and when other people are dying to boss rounds.
random freezes that dc people seemly at random mid game. (5 out opf 7 games)
zombie village even gets stuck pretty much every run.

There is this gold bug when reaching gold income level 20. After reaching level 20 gold income, you will only get 22 gold after every round. Staying at level 19 will get you so much more gold at the end of every round (up to 100-500 gold depending on how high you are in the wave)

Some more bugs/balance issues that I found:
  • In Alliance mode, for some reason, after you reach 250 value, all units are unlocked to build. There is no need for prerequisite units anymore.
  • This one is not a bug but more of a balance issue. The special event happened every 12 rounds. The event has two areas: the top for 4 players and the bottom for 2. I found the bottom ones are just too difficult to beat. You might want to adjust the unit a bit. I haven't seen anyone able to beat the bottom event in the early-mid game.
  • The castle for round 25 can kill itself through splash damage, so you are left with 0 gold.
  • In Draft mode where you can pick 1 out of 3 races. I found that many races overlap between players. For example, 3 players are offered with the exact same 3 races. I found this out by asking people what are their options.
  • In duel or 3v3/2v2, you don't get gold for killing the last unit. You can get gold for every kill except for the last unit.
  • During creep waves, duels, and 2v2/3v3, some melee units change targets continuously, moving around for 5-10 seconds without attacking. Also, melee units sometimes just go straight for my range unit and skip all of my frontlines.

I don't know if this is the intention, but I found Lone Druid from Night Elf is missing its armor upgrade. They are melee units and should benefit from the armor and health upgrade. Currently, they are very squishy.

Another thing is that Illidan is pretty weak, considering it is the most expensive unit in the Night Elf roaster. Illidan is only strong when he transforms into his chaos damage form. I suggest having him permanent in his second form to justify his cost.

I play as Night Elf and have this thought the whole time. Currently, Night Elf only has 1 chaos-damage unit, a melee unit. This unit is expensive and not a good one either. It would be great if they had another chaos-damage unit but for range. Night Elf has the strongest range unit in the game, so I think it is appropriate for them to have a chaos-damage archer. After all, they have a weak frontline and strong range units to compensate for that.

Speaking of frontline, I mostly use Huntress, which is very mid. Huntress doesn't have any upgrades. You build them once, and that is it. It would be great if there were some upgrades for it. Maybe add an upgrade for Huntress with better armor type, damage, HP, and a new ability, but with less attack range?

I was playing as Demon and found the Infernal unit buggy. Enemies will ignore it and go for my backline. Mobs will only attack it once all other units in my army are dead. That means the Annihilator is the only good tank left for Demon, but that unit is very expensive as it needs to be upgraded to its second form, which costs 460 costs to take a punch. The first form of Annihilator, which cost 180 gold, is bad. He only has 1200 hp, and the attack stat is not that high, either. Personally, I think 460 gold is too much for the second form. Demon is one of the hardest factions to play with because they all need to be upgraded to be usable, while other factions can leave some of their units at tier 1, and they can hold the line for a couple of turns. Demon has succubus and satyr with no upgrade, so they can be used immediately with little investment, but I haven't seen many use them. (cause they not good)
