Map Info:
Build an army on your territory. Every round, your army spawns to fight either against randomised creep waves, or against another player's army. You have no direct control over your army after it spawns; your role is to build the right units in the right formation and gave them correct orders. Victory is achieved by acquiring a set number of Victory Points, gained by beating other players' armies.

Demons When using these tactics, I did not lose a single life (that depends of bosses abilities).

Cobold Taskmaster (no upgrades)

1. 8 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP). 6 Warriors set to charge after 7sec. Lightining to enemy Range Cobold - 3mana.
2. Astral Hound (charge 3 sec) + 2 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP). Lightining to enemy Range Cobold - 3mana.
3. Almost random units and behaviors + Rain of Fire (7mana). 1-3 against all types of Cobold.
4. 6 Archers (Flee at 50% and 7 sec Charge). Lightining to enemy Range Cobold - 3mana. 4 Weak Against Teleport Cobold Without using Landscape and Random Events. Sometimes I can kill him without mana (Volcano, Roots or Goblin Mine can help).

Dark Troll Lord (Upgrade: Haste - lvl 2, Food - 2)

1. Astral Hound, 3 Archers (Flee 50%), 8 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP). All Units set to 7 sec charge. Lightning to enemy Troll Guard - 3mana.
2. 2 Astral Hound(Flee at 50%), Hound, 3 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP). All Units set to 7 sec charge. Rift - 4mana.
3. 4 Hounds, 3 Archers (Flee at 50%), 3 Demon Warriors (Flee at 50%) All Units set to 7 sec charge. Lightning on enemy Troll Guard – 3 mana.
4. 2 Hound, 6 Archers (Flee 50%), 5 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP) – All Units set to 7 sec charge. Two Lightning on two enemy Troll Guards – 6 mana. Troll with Goblin miners – can destroy all this builds. Fire Huntress can help you with it, but you can lost lives before wave 10.

Behemoth (Upgrade: Haste - lvl 5 Melee Armor 1, Melee Attack 1, Food 3)

1. Lord Xavius, Slasher, Astral Hound, 3 Archers (Flee 50%), 8 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP). All Units, except Slasher, set to 7 sec charge. Posses Lord Xavius – 2 mana. (can take 3-5 min)
2. Astral Hound(Flee at 50%), 3 Demon Warriors (Set to Flee at 50% HP). All Units set to 7 sec charge. Rift – 4 mana.
3. 1 Wizard Slayer, 3 Hounds, 3 Astral Huntress, 5 Archers (Flee at 50%, 1 Flank Left, 2 Flank Right), 3 Demon Warriors (Flee at 50%). All Units set to 7 sec charge, except Demon Warriors(3 sec charge). Rift – 4 mana. 1-3 Behemoth with murlocks can kill you.
4. 1 Wizard Slayer, 1 Hound, 8 Archers, (Flee 50%, 2 set to flank left, 4 set to flank right), 2 Fire Huntress (Build at Bottom Left and Bottom Right corners),5 Demon Warriors(Set to Flee at 50% HP) – All Units set to 7 sec charge, except Demon Warriors(3 sec charge). Two Rift – 8 mana. Build Against Murlocks. Usually Demons have no problems with enemies after Behemoth.

Great infernals and Ancient Annihilators set to charge after 3 sec (because of Cravlers "Stomp" ability),

Features:

  8. Many options and army styles to choose from, and designed to all be viable. Holy war isn't a game where the winning strategy is to simply spam a powerful unit; every build and every strategy has a counter.
  9. Set custom behaviours on your units; e.g. to have them perform a tactical retreat when near death, or flank your enemy's army.

Multiple game modes: Survival (leak X amount of waves to lose, last player wins), Classic (as described above) and Tournament (you fight against players each round), Overlords (Play survival mode as powerful boss); each of which can be customised with Short/Medium/Long and Allpick/Draft/All-random/Alliance

BUG: I play with 1 other all the time. Sometime if I keep losing on a boss, it'll just skip the boss level for me and push me to the next level on the next round. But it will still indicate that I am on that level.

Ex. Level 7 boss, I keep losing. Next round it skips the boss, but still says I am level 7. After I win that round, I am on level 8, which is really 9. If it skips the 2nd boss too, it'll indicate that I am 2 levels behind.

Sometimes it makes me fight Behemoth at level 14.

Survival - 18 Lives

EDIT: My friend is at level 20 and it is making him fight Brood Mother.

I think that in map just not updated the data after the "Scorched village".
As I say before:
If you clear Village or Castle gates you pass current level.
You just skip your boss-level.

But I don't understand:
Level 7 boss
because if data isn't updated, you've got wrong title for one round.

May be you have replay?

This happens sometimes if you skip the level, the multiboard will not be updated and it will be still showing the previous level. But it is only the matter of multiboard, the game itself is not affected by this and it will get fixed the level after. So if the game is showing 24 level and you will beat it, the next level it will be showing level 26.

Hello, it has been some time since I last wrote here something. :)

But I just found 2 issues.

1. The bug with duels and dead spectators is still there, here is the replay, it has happened at the end of the replay.

2. There is a bug with team duel, if it is not 3v3, it gets bugged, that it will always show win team with 3 players, so it can be player from opposite team + the real team, that wins. (I do not know exactly, how to describe this issue)

LoL, I just experienced very strange thing. I do not have replay, unfortuntelly, becuse when I quit the game it sent me straight to the menu.

When we were at the castle bonus level, before we reached level 15, there were 3 behemoth bosses, :) so we have lost. But the thing is that after that, the one player just won! We all had around 5 lifes, but he just won after that, it is hard to find words to describe this situation. :D

I think this game needs a rework in balance and some bugfixing. Sometimes I lost a round and do nothing (to save money), and then I finished the wave with no problems. Sometimes bosses cast spells or calls other creeps, sometimes they don't.
I played the trolls and I think the mammuthrider is the strongest unit, he unlocks the mammuth who isn't any match for the most hostile units. Not spells, weaker than the mammuthrider in all aspects exept damage, but he is to fat to attack something.

Sometimes I lost a round and do nothing (to save money), and then I finished the wave with no problems.
All hostile got new behavior patterns every round. You can got complicated or easy wave patterns.
About Riders and Mammoth - many units from other races easily beat them down. Just try to build more units or hero units.

Yes i found that version on entgaming hosting service. Its shrinked to 70mb its not 130mb. I was trygin on 1.27b and 130mb version gives error sometling like "map file is too big choose another map"

Hey,
great map but I have a question. I play it with a friend and almost always we have only one or two lives at the Boss.
I tried to edit the map just for me but in the small version there is nothing to edit and in the ~130mb file I can but I dont know how to get it smaller.
Could anyone tell me what to do?

Sorry I thought I explained it good enough. What im trying to say is that when we get to the last boss we have only one or two lives left... because we are not that good :D
Thats why I tried to edit the map to give us more but thats only possible with the full version. And as you know I cant host such a big map in local Multiplayer.
Hope you know what I mean?

i played the Remasterd version of this when it was 70 MB posted on ent well lets say my game crashed while playing im not sure tho becuse one time i managed to play a full 55 round to the end but after that it seemed to constatly crash so i think it was something a spell/trigger/or something that did crash the game for me.
then i went back playing the older version of the game 1.99k final and it didnt crash at all game was smother due to lesser size i loved both of them anyway the only problem i can say is (( Nerubians [dark souls] are OP also Azeroth [portal cannon] )) me and my friend banned {nerubians}{demons becuse of kill jaden} and {azeroth} whenever we hosted but now i see the map even bigger with 135 + size dispite the music i really hope you fixed the game crash becuse my warcraft is full updated all the time and the 2 factions and i played that one round 55 level PVP full without crash so i guess whatever it was that was making the crash wasent used in that match.
i will download and try this not anytime soon but thats becuse im busy
any way i really loved this map i played a lot of the older 1.99 final version and if this map has its crash fixed and the races balanced including when the music kicks in then yeah this is a 5/5 for me{[(EPIC]})
and i also woulde suggest to change that last battle ground with 2 bridge please make it a flat open space just like the other ones i rekted and got reket a ton of times becuse of the bad terrain in there.

So hey like people before me have said, im trying to host this game on battle net and its not working. Its saying the map is too big and does for anyone i know of that tries to host it too. Were all playing the latest version of wc3 and have never modded our games.

yeah my friend just said limit on b.net is 128 me

in this case RIP completely

maybe you should use the Map Optimiser to decrease the sizes or something .

Or cut off the music pack it's not like we can't play a music in the background while we are playing

if it can't be hosted on b.net it's worth it to cut the music pack.

Hey I think the op races are Human, Naga and Nerubian. Azeroth is just average. Also, Nerubian is op not because of the dark souls, but the scarabs.

Also, kil'jaeden is garbage.

yeah I agree with naga and humans but their somewhat counterble
and nerubians basically Dominate the first 20 rounds in PVP just because of dark souls.
but I don't know if they are nerfed here or something.
And honesty I bolt killjaden and make my winning ticket my self :D


also if you Run this on the map Wc3mapoptimizer 5.0 - Wc3C.net

I believe that it will give you the decreased map size by 4/5 mb ( exactly what we need ) to play it on battle.net

so inless you say we only play naga and portal cannon and nerubians

we will get rekt from game start to mid high game of a 55 round -em PVP

wich by the time we can counter them properly the score points earned by players who pick thoes teams already earned what they need to win the game.

So, does "Anniversary Edition" contain changes from "The Last" version and Void God from "Remastered"?
I guess that models from "Remastered" aren't in "Anniversary". I'm quite confused with those versions. :p

"Anniversary" has all the features of "Last" and many other new without new models. I'll upload "Remastered" today, but I think that it will be old, because I'm worked only with 8mb version of Holy War(just because some players still use Garena(Warcraft 1.26a with map size limit 8Mb)).

Ive been playing holywar for more than 1,5 year and when u relased Final i thought it is over, but today my heart sikpped a beat when i saw Holywar Anniversary.

After one match i already like to suggest/say a few things:

Cons:

- lvl 15 Boss. His water elementals are to strong now. Due to the fact that they spawn beside him they are able to much more dmg. Now it feels like the old water aoe of the boss, when it did dmg (like in ver 1.94).

- Aelin's Sunnwell Chain. It is (as i think) the worst hero spell in HW. It causes so much dmg to your units due to dmg sharing that you will lose waves wich have been easy/ok before. It feels like the enemy troops gain cleve or splash out of no where. This has been bugging me for a while now.. I even started to sell Aelin after i built next lvl units.

- There is still no announcement for special round 12, 24, 36, 48.

Pros:

- Environment Event System, you think you can do the boss after leaking 2 waves ? gues what there will be a vulcano killing all your backlane. Just nice ;)

- The Annihilator is back on stage with model.


Ill may make another post with suggestions, if u dont mind :)


If u ever consider making it a real game id love to blend in. Because it is just an amazing game with loads of potential and it gave me hours of joy.
(as a exampel: my clan mates and i invented a running gag. It is about going fast in bilding an be the first to press ready and the last one is always to blame for beeing slow. Witch goes like:
- German ''mach mal reeeaaadddyyy hallloooooo, reeeaaaddyyy haaalloooo''
- Witch rughly translates to '' hurry press reeeaaady, reeeeaaadddyy heeeeloooo''

wtf is that "Remastered Version(126Mb)" version ? There is no option to play a game. Only some units spawn for red player to fight void god ???

There is a bug with new unit "crusher" or ghoul. When huge arena started they weren't attacking, they were just running behind battle, and when all fighting units were killed, the battle was finnished and all units perished but ghouls + summoned units. I think they aren't considered as normal units, but summoned ones. We had to type "-endround" to finnish the round.

There is some bug in the 126MB version. At level 36 when fighting sargaras, sometimes the round doesn't end if we lose; sometimes sargaras doesn't even spawn and players fight against each other....
