Map Info:
Build an army on your territory. Every round, your army spawns to fight either against randomised creep waves, or against another player's army. You have no direct control over your army after it spawns; your role is to build the right units in the right formation and gave them correct orders. Victory is achieved by acquiring a set number of Victory Points, gained by beating other players' armies.




Or you can play as powerful boss and destroy all opponents by yourself in new game mode.

Features:

  1. Unique TD-ish gameplay, combining the low-APM requirement of Tower Defense with the glorious battles of melee Warcraft.
  2. Set your army in a formation to maximise its damage and survivability.
  3. Eleven different races to choose from, each with its own strengths and weaknesses.
  4. Use global-range spells to influence battles, improve your army, or slow down another player's progress.
  5. Powerful bosses, each with special random abilities designed to plow through your tanks and engage all elements of your army.
  6. Randomized creep waves, ensuring that each game is different to the last.
  7. Failing a level doesn't mean it's over for you; you get to fight it again next round. Although this might slow down your progress (and thus army size), you will never find yourself out of the running.
  8. Many options and army styles to choose from, and designed to all be viable. Holy war isn't a game where the winning strategy is to simply spam a powerful unit; every build and every strategy has a counter.
  9. Set custom behaviours on your units; e.g. to have them perform a tactical retreat when near death, or flank your enemy's army.
  10. Multiple game modes: Survival (leak X amount of waves to lose, last player wins), Classic (as described above) and Tournament (you fight against players each round), Overlords (Play survival mode as powerful boss); each of which can be customised with Short/Medium/Long and Allpick/Draft/All-random/Alliance
  11. Over 420+ unique units.
  12. Epic mass duels, and raid boss battle. (Classic and Survival mode)
  13. Two alternate endings and two epic mini games(in survival mode)

    I need to clarify a few points to you:

    1- Do you have the permission from rulerofiron99 to upload a map that is heavily based off of something he created?

    2- If this is just an update of the original map then rulerofiron99 could've done that himself. It's his map and he decides whether updating it or not. You are not allowed to post a map that is an obvious clone of someone else's (we already had similar cases).

    3- Have you read the Map Submission Rules, especially the uniqueness part?

    In the unfortunate case you do not make everything clear, I'll be compelled to reject the map immediately.

    Visuals - Ambience and Aesthetics

    The game does not offer much terrain and ambience, majorly only waste areas.
    I already played maps of this very kind with a good terrain, you could think about adding more, maybe a little terrain, giving some atmosphere to the map. A theme is up to you, maybe a forest like one or a mountain one.
    Keep in mind that you use only the center of each player's area, so you can freely design the borders.

    Your map size is not efficient, too. There is a lot of unused space, you can easily reduce the map size about 25%.

    Gameplay and Features

    There is a big amount of races and they are and seem very customized, as far as I played them. The races have different strengths and weaknesses, offering different strategies and builds.

    For its features, I have to say, most of the upgrades and abilities seem simply 'copied' from other maps of this kind, they seem to be exactly the same, especially the builder's options and upgrades.
    You could think about new upgrades and options, too.

    For the difficulty, Survival Medium is already challenging and I don't think the amount of creeps spawning every waves should increase that much. After some waves you already have many enemy creeps which is quite challenging.

    Other

    • Please add a separate changelog tag to this thread
    • Please wrap hidden tags around the detailed credits
    • Think about adding one or another screenshot, I had no idea what this was until I played it, recalling similar games. It helps players searching for this very kind of a map
    • Please remove 'Altered Melee' from the type section, this map is not considered being altered melee
    • If possible, try to reduce the map size, it is ridiculously too high for a map of this genre

    Result

    I consider the map approvable based on its gameplay, not on its terrain.

    I vote for a rating of 3/5 Useful

    I tried the map yesterday. It functioned well until I met the Boss Troll. Then I got the fatal error. Can you check the map to see what bug caused that?

    Build Ur army, upgrade and ready. They will fight automatically.

    I love this map! I have been waiting for the update so long, and this map reaches the originals amazingness. I do have one question though. So I played the new Defenders of something race, and they seemed balanced enough, but my friend played the demons and he said and I could tell they are to expensive and can't take that much damage. Are the demons suppose to be like this? Still I love all the new races you added.
