    Ya...

    I just love hive

EVerytime I enter wc3c: it is slow, wierd made, wierd acting people.

Everytime I enter hive: it is fast, some strange bugs, nice people, quick anwears, understandable.

    wc3c:

    +
A good deal of nice resources
    Some nice tutorials

    -
    Slow
    Not fashion design
    Not fast answears
    Wierd structured

    Hive:

    +
    Fast
    Lots of resources
    Helpfull forums
    Easy to overlook
    Well made

    -
    Bugs
    Resources search
Quite a bit not propably made resources

My own conclusion: Hive is best, although that opinion is kinda subjectiv...:wwink:

I'd vote Hive anyday, cause it lacks a vast portion of the wc3camp community.

    The site, In general.

I just dont think contest between The hive and wc3c would be fair. Allmost all of the people on wc3c are here too: Chriz,camel,rdz,... even TDR and Captin griffen have accounts here, allthough they use them less often. But all of them would chose wc3c.

Its baisicaly Chriz, camel, rdz,TDR and Captin griffen Vs the hive, really, allthough I might be missing out on some people.

Anyways, Im not saying the hive way owns wc3c or anything... But not much is happening on wc3c anymore, and the sites often laggy or down... Not many new reasores are being uploaded...

Anyways, I just preferr the hive becuas it seems more alive right now.

Pyritie... I am respected user on both sites and it doesn't influence my vote at all. So you can't say that RDZ picked wc3c only because they like him more there.

I never really though of vexorian as a contest-like guy, But I suppose thats true. ALlthough he had\has account here wich is 100% un-active I bet. EDIT: Nvm, I was thinking of a differnt person when I said he has a account here.

I dont know much about Pyrogasm...

Accident. They still love me very much ^^

being banned doesn't mean that you suck. Wormskull was banned on both wc3c and wc3search and he's a legend :p

Yeah. The fact that Jacek got banned just proves his awesomeness and how utterly rude he is at the same time. Both very good qualities. Same goes for Wormskull.

I prefer the site and layout of Wc3c, and a handful of the members there are a fun group of guys. I also see a lot of talent over there. I joined 3c back when it had a lot of activity, but it has died down in the past year.

Either way I like Wc3c still but I just wish it had some more activity, especially amongst the staff. Most of them seem to have moved on however, which is a shame, but I suppose I'll follow suit soon enough anyway.

You're making a THW vs Wc3c poll, on THW.

What do you think the majority will be?

Wc3c wins for quality of resources and quality of members.

    Remember, quality over quantity ;)

I was going to request a "None" option because of the recent downtimes and usal performance at wc3c , but then I read some of the posts and changed my decision:

First there was Pyrite's which reminded me that I wouldn't find certain guys here, like pipe or Pitzermike. In fact, I think thehelper does better in that regard since it would be easier to find Pitzermike there.

Some other guy mentioned looks, I don't really love the wc3sear.ch imitation this layout is, as if it was mocking sear.ch (sorry but that's how I feel about its look) And I used to be a sear.ch person so it doesn't make me feel good so that was another minus for hive.

Jacek voted hive which is yet another + to vote for wc3c.

Some annoying guy that left wc3 modding said that our moderation is unjust, another reason to vote wc3c.

Some person mentioned models which reminded me my brother doesn't post resources here so that was another + for wc3c.

Some guy mentioned that some guys like Rao_Dao_Zao and CaptainGriffen frequent this site, that's another minus for hive.

Then I noticed hive copied my rep system in which I give blue gems for more rep, that's a minus for both sites.

I also noticed that if this thread was posted in wc3c it wouldn't survive 2 hours without vanishing the poster in a way that no one would ever remember his name, so that's a + for wc3c.

And finally after voting I found out the votes are public so I had to justify my vote and that's what I did by typing this. Bye.

The reason Hive is progressing faster, is becasue it is more open to new members. People sign up to submit their resources and get feedback. The hive gives critisim in a nice (Usually) and constructive way. Wc3c however slams the truth on you, gives good critisim but not before putting you down, so down you melt and start to slip away into the god damn toilet.

And of course, in some form or another, they put "You suck, your resource suck, gtfo you fail at life".

Hive is more open to new members, wc3c is rather shady and isolated...
Thats the reason Hive is growing, wc3c is just...staying...

I always felt like there was an aggressive ambient between Wc3C and THW, for the simple reason that the two biggest Warcraft III communities are not affiliated.

Well, while I appreciate Wc3C for the well-selected resources and staff, I must say THW does a better job in greeting new modders, due to the eliteness of Wc3C (which does not lower my opinion of them in any way).
I don't know if what Steel said is true, but still, I won't vote.

That's a good thing in the way. I like good critique, and TDR is very good at giving it.

    Especially on that self-portrait.

ya, but being such a harsh one discourages users, not only does that discourage them from trying harder, it also leads them away from that site and makes them afraid to submit stuff there because they are afraid of the hrash critiques
