Hi everyone...

I looked for a long time for a site like this one here cuz I loved making maps ever since I started playing Warcraft. At frist I didn't even know that you can use
models, icons, skins..etc. in your map besides the ones that blizzard has created for original warcraft game. But, here I am now, downloading each and every possible resource from this site, and with each downloaded, I start thinking how am I going to use it in one of my maps. My only weaknes in World Editor is JASS.
But there is another problem, I don't know if this happens to all of you, but somehow, I was never able to finish at least one of my maps (exept for one of my old ones "Crazy World" wich I have posted here, but it ain't so special), cuz I have always been perfekcionist (I hope i spelled it right), and I always make fully detailed part of a map, and then I get annoyed with just thinking how am I suppoused to detail the other half. But hopefully, I will be able to finish my leatest project, a campagin that will be called "Beyond Magic" (Unless I change my mind and give it a different name, the map itself will take a lot of time to complete, cuz I wanted to put as much as possible things to do in it, like talking to every possible unit in the map, and many features like special spell learning system, item backpack...and many more).

I am apolagizing for my bad spelling, and I am sorry if you were annoyed reading introdukcion this long in wich I have told very little about me, but I truly didn't know what to write...

Searching the site using the above link always helps, you can learn a lot that way: just reading and learning is usually the best place to start, especially if one feels overwhelmed.

Likewise, the tutorials can really teach ALL of us a thing or two.

The chat room is cool: lots of people can answer questions there.

• A few other tips that might help too:
  • Always search first! Did I already mention THAT?
  • When creating a new thread, make the title VERY specific: so the site's search engine (and we users) can easily understand just what the thread contains.
  • Post your new threads in the proper forum: read the descriptions of each one so that you know what to post there.
