hey I' was wondering how to make a trigger that when your hero dies you lose?

You would have to do this. Its only if you have 1 unit though. Not to sure how to make it work with more than one.

• Your trigger
  • Events
    • Unit - A unit owned by Player 1 (Red) Dies
  • Conditions
  • Actions
    • Game - Defeat Player 1 (Red) with the message: Defeat!

Copy that trigger changing player 1 red with every player.

or a better one, so you dont need to make 12 triggers or so:

• Events
• Unit - Unit dies
• Conditions
• Bolean - Unit type of (dying unit) is a (hero) equal to (true)
• Actions
• Player - Defeat (Owner of (Dying unit) with the text (PWNT U N00B!)
