I never played Warcraft 2, so I can't answer this xP
If a parcel of 2 kg is put on a rough plane inclined at an angle of 30 degrees and it is pushed up the plane with a horizontal force of 30N parallel to the plane, what is the acceleration of the parcel? The coefficient of friction between the parcel and the plane is 0.3.
WIN for me
I assume the force is applied at 30 degrees angle too since its parallel to the plank.
So the answer is..
0 m/s^2 (Held in place by the applied force if it is pushing at 30 degrees angle)
Are you a cat?
No dude, it's not 0. If I asked about the acceleration then there must be one
Ok, here is how to do it:
Taking g = 9.81 ms-2
Now let's imagine a free-body diagram of the parcel. The forces acting on it are the friction, weight, reaction force and the 30N one I mentioned before. Friction and weight oppose the 30N force and the reaction force contributes to the friction so we need to calculate the resultant force to find the acceleration through the equation F=ma therefore:
30 - Wsin30 - uR = ma
Where uR is the frictional force
u is the coefficient of friction and R is the reaction force hence it is equal to 0.3 x (2 x 9.81)cos30 = 5.1N (2 s.f.)
The component of weight that moves the parcel downwards is (2 x 9.81)sin30 = 9.81N
So now returning to the original equation, we have:
30 - 9.81 - 5.1 = 2a
By rearranging and calculating, we get that a = 7.55 ms-1 (3 s.f)
Still sure you want *any* question?
Ah, I had the answer as either 7.55 or 0 in the original before I edited.
And no, please no more physics question! xD
I am no cat, but I am closer to dogs.
Ok no more Physics questions, time for a Chemistry one
Nah, I'm kidding.
Here's a good question:
What kind of superpower you'd like to have and why?
It took me so long because I can't really figure out.
For example, if I had a super-power to create anything out of my imagination, that means creating out of my imagination would no longer feel satisfying isn't it?
There is no longer any value to it for me at least.
And anyways, human errors play a part in art, if I could render my imagination into real object, there would lack the accidents in the process that make an art as "Art".
And most likely, if we were to create something out of imagination, I am not even sure if that object would shape like an object in reality.
If we imagine a person, we only imagine a part of the person, and the mind does not attend to other specific feature that is not on focus, making that person to actually be deformed.
This is a hard subject.
The same logic goes with other super-powers.
Yes, I do not want super-powers for my own satisfaction, even if I could help other people with it, I wouldn't.
I believe I would be an abnormality if I were to have a super-power when other people doesn't.
And I would seclude myself from the world, just because I should not exist in society with any super-power I imagined. (That would disrupt the balance in nature)
If anything, I would want immortality.
I would love to observe humanity to its end.
Time is precious because it is limited.
Same goes as to how life is precious, because there is death.
Victory feels amazing, because there is defeat.
But I don't really appreciate time since the beginning anyways, so yes, I would love immortality.
